The word HOPE is listed in the bible more than 180 times, with most of the scriptures about hope coming from the Book of Job and the Book of Psalms. Hope is  a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.  It is a feeling of trust. Hoping is a verb, meaning it is wanting something to happen o be the case.

This is part two of a three-part series on the topic of Forgiveness and Beyond Forgiveness.  This is part-two.  The word forgiveness is represented in the bible at least 259 times. The word FORGIVENESS is directly tied to the word REPENTANCE in that repentance is one of the requirements for the FORGIVENESS OF SINS. True forgiveness is the conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you regardless of whether they actually deserve or ask for forgiveness. Isn't that good news?

The word FORGET means to stop speaking the sinful act or to stop repeating it from one's mouth. To forgive others means to be forgiven by God.  2Corinthians 2:10 states:  "If you forgive anyone, God also forgives you." Isn't that good news?
