I spoke to my friend and economist Jose Alvarez about the current situation in his home country. We spoke about the importance of institutions, the economics of his country and whether or not there is a way out. We also spoke about the parallels between the issues suffered by Venezuela and those of other developing nations.

In this first episode, I chat with Professor Diego Valderrama Rojas of the Universidad de los Andes about World Bank Group policies on water privatization. We discuss the ways in which these policies may be detrimental to the development efforts of a third world country. We also chatted about Aquaculture as an employable alternative and how it solves the problem of overfishing. This is the first episode, and while the sound isn't great, you can expect it to improve in the coming episodes :)
