Le groupe montréalais Rosier – anciennement Les Poules à Colin – réclame et interprète les traditions romantiques du folk québécois. Ayant passé leurs années formatrices au coeur de riches traditions musicales du Québec, les membres de Rosier continuent d’explorer les alliages entre le folk québécois et un mélange de styles indie, jazz, pop, bluegrass et contemporain. Ils nous plongent dans leur univers grâce à des compositions originales, des arrangements sophistiqués, des progressions harmoniques surprenantes et bien sûr, des traditions réinventées. Rosier ajoute couleurs exubérantes aux tonalités familières du folk. Le résultat est une musique mature, contrôlée et remplie d’émotion qui est surprenamment rafraichissante et pertinente dans le monde changeant d’aujourd’hui.
