Seeing part 2

In our final message on patterns, we are encouraged to "press on for the prize" that God has promised us- life the way He wants us to live- full of Him!

Patterns- Press On

Sometimes we feel like we need to find Jesus - but He has promised to never leave us or forsake us- He will give us the answers that we need.

God’s Voice- Finding Jesus

As we discussed last week, God wants to talk with us.  But how do we know if we are just hearing our own selves or if it is God speaking? Listen in to find out.

Hearing God- Us or Him?

In the first part of this series, we are challenged to begin to focus on "God's report"... if He has promised something, why do we spend our time focusing on all that "could go wrong"... instead we need to be seeing all that He is ready to do in as we move forward into the place He has promised to take us.

Seeing

Jesus restored our relationship with God.  We are now righteous and the old ways of living life are broken off of us.  As we listen to the Holy Spirit, the old patterns are revealed so that we can change.  As we imitate Christ, we are set free!

Patterns- What He did

Our minds are made to recognize patterns and we also find ourselves repeating patterns in our lives.  Some of these patterns are learned, some we have chosen to adopt, but how do we begin to follow God's patterns for our lives?

Patterns

Many of us are walking through life feeling weighed down and burdened.  In Matthew 11:28-32, Jesus tells us if we are tired and heavy laden that He will give us rest, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. If His burden is supposed to be light, then why do Christians feel so overwhelmed?  Come listen to find out.

His Burden

God came to rebuild our relationship with Him, and as part of that, He desires to talk to us.  Every believer can and should hear from God.

Hearing God- Every Believer

Jesus has given us authority in several specific areas.  We have been authorized to use our authority, trusting in Him to complete that which He has promised to do.
