Rebekah Waters the Camels

Father God can only be known through the wisdom and revelation that comes from Him. John 6:44 - No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. Father God is the one who draws people to Jesus. John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Jesus is the way to the Father and Father God is the destination. John 5:19 - So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. Kindness = (chrestotes) It is the grace which pervades the whole nature, mellowing all which would have harsh and austere. Also translated as goodness and gentleness; kind and good in oneself, mellow Ephesians 2:7 -so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Kind = (chrestos) to furnish what is needed; useful, profitable, mild, pleasant, good as opposed to harsh, hard, sharp, bitter Matthew 11:30 – My yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Luke 6:35 - But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Father God is Kind

Matthew 6:9-10 - Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Acts 10:38 - how God (Father) anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Anger = movement or agitation of the soul, impulse, desire, or any violent emotion, but especially anger; Anger exhibited in punishment, hence used for punishment itself Clamor = outcry of the wailing as those in distress; crying in grief Slander = speech injurious to another’s good name. Let all bitterness therefore wrath therefore anger therefore clamor therefore slander be put away from you. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Kind = mild, pleasant, as opposed to harsh, hard, sharp, bitter Tenderhearted = compassionate, sympathetic Forgiving = to do something pleasant or agreeable (to one), to do a favor to, gratify; graciously to restore one to another Hebrews 12:15 - See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;

Healing in Father's Kingdom

Unfortunately, many have a Christianity that is focused way too much on what they have to do for God, and not enough on who God is and what he has already done for us. What Christianity is truly about however is simply this: God loves you and He wants you to live in the continuous experiencing of Him loving you. This is the whole point of Christianity: Living in the continuous experiencing of Him loving you brings you into rest, contentment, and an inner peace that is so contagious that people will be impacted just by who you are. Jesus’ life of dependency on the Father was a life in the Father’s love. What the Father’s love was to Jesus, His love will be to us. Jesus is the way to the Father and Father God is the destination. The love of the Father is the foundation of Christianity. Without it the foundation is missing. JESUS TAUGHT US TO PRAY TO THE FATHER. Matthew 6:6 - But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. Matthew 6:9-10 - Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. WE ARE BLESSED BY THE FATHER Ephesians 1:3 - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places…. Ephesians 1:16-17 - I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him…. FATHER GOD, SHOW ME WHO YOU ARE. I WANT TO LIVE IN THE CONTINUOUS EXPERIENCE OF YOU LOVING ME. I WANT TO LIVE IN YOUR LOVE, FATHER GOD, THE SAME WAY JESUS DID. TETELESTAI means IT IS FINISHED. 1. Your debt of sin has been paid in full. You owe nothing. 2. Your prison sentence term for what you deserve has been served. The time for being in bondage has been fully served. You go free. 3. Your battle with the devil, sin, and all sickness and disease has been fully won.

Freedom in the Father's Love

Isaiah 43:2 - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. John 16:33 - I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” JESUS, YOU ALONE ARE MY LORD FOREVER! Romans 8:28 -And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 1 Corinthians 15:58 - Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Thank you, Father God, that in Christ I am steadfast. I am steadfast in faith in you and all you have done. I am steadfast in the hope in all you have planned for me. I am steadfast in your love for me that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. You are my refuge and in you I am immovable, empowered by God in my commitment to, with, and through you. By your love and power and presence I abound in the work of the Lord and I am fruitful in and through Christ Jesus my Lord. Isaiah 50:7 - But the Lord GOD helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. Luke 9:51 - When the days drew near for him to be taken up, he set his face to go to Jerusalem. Acts 20:24 - But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Settle It! Resolve It! You Belong to the Lord Forever!

Psalm 16:11 - You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ephesians 2:7 – so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Therefore, the mission of the church, the body of Christ while here on earth is to bring people into the fulness of his love and presence through what Jesus has done for us. Ephesians 3:14-21 - For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Genesis 3:8 - And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Father God planned to have an earthly family to be his eternal family restored to him, empowered by him, and re-presenting him by reigning in life and eternity with and through him. Father God would rather have given us free will understanding that we may not choose to love him back, than never having us at all. His desire for family and the risk he took to get us is more important than not giving us the opportunity to choose him. We see HIS goal realized in Revelation 21. Revelation 21:1-4 - Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

The Presence of the Lord

Father God planned to have an earthly family to be his eternal family restored to him, empowered by him, and re-presenting him by reigning in life and eternity with and through him. Jesus is the ultimate picture or functioning image of what we are becoming. Our hearts belonging completely to Father God, knitted to him, reflecting the fulness of his love and life in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 1:3a - He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature…. Romans 8:29 - For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. This functional image of God in re-presenting Jesus Christ as the ultimate picture of what all mankind is to be is under assault in the earth today. 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 - And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For instance, just one of the attributes of Jesus that is to be re-presented in his followers to emulate his character is to forgive your enemies. Only Jesus does this. He is the source of forgiveness in the human race. The blood of the cross is the power of redemption that releases the forgiveness of sins, all sins. Your high calling, our high calling, in this life and eternity is to show forth the image of God as he truly is. This is only accomplished as he empowers us, like a branch receives from the vine. Jesus patterned this for us. John 5:19 - So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise. Jesus coming to earth was an act of war culminating in victory when we rose from the dead breaking the power of sin and death. 1 John 3:8 - Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. In Luke 4:18 the word captive in the Bible Greek language literally means prisoner of war. Captivity - the state or period of being held, imprisoned, enslaved, or confined. A condition of being trapped and confined under the control of someone or something. Captivity can involve words, a habit, a troubling thought process, a point of control over a part of your life that traps you and you feel powerless to control, thus captivity. FREEDOM

Walking into Permanent Freedom

Loving the Presence of God

Acts 10:38 - how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. Luke 4:14 - And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him went out through all the surrounding country. For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!” Luke 5:17 - On one of those days, as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with him to heal. Luke 6:19 - And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all. Luke 9:1-2 - And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. Luke 10:1 - After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. Luke 10:9 - Heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ Luke 10:17-20 - The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” 18 And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. 20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.” Repent – metanoia – to change one’s mind for better, to heartily amend with abhorrence of one’s past sins 2 Corinthians 7:10 - For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. People can try to change their behaviors without ever dealing with the root pain buried deep in the hearts. Biblical repentance is a gift granted by God and it comes with the power to change the internal negative beliefs that actually hold a person captive. Luke 24:49 - And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Acts 1:8 - But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Receive – lambano – take with the hand, to lay hold of, any person or thing to use it; to take up a thing to be carried; to take upon oneself; to receive what is offered, not to refuse or reject Power – dynamis – strength, power, ability; inherit power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth; power for performing miracles; moral power and excellence of soul; the power and influence which belong to riches and wealth Come – eperchomai – to come upon, to arrive, overtake; of the Holy Spirit, descending and operating in one Acts 2:1-4 - When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:16-17 - But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: 17 “‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh,

The Power of the Holy Spirit

The Good Samaritan

I am walking in the light of the Word and the Word of God says He has heard me. The Word says I am healed. The Word says I have my healing and I believe the Word of God. Faith pistis = conviction of the truth of anything; belief; in the NT of a conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, generally with the included idea of trust and holy fervor of faith and joined with it. 2 Corinthians 5:7 AMP - for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]— Not by sight includes all of the five physical senses: taste, touch, smell, hearing, and sight. We will be focused on function of faith’s spiritual seeing and hearing, not physical seeing and hearing. THERE ARE EYES OF FAITH THAT SEE THINGS HOPED FOR WHICH ARE THINGS NOT SEEN WITH THE PHYSICAL EYES THERE ARE EARS OF FAITH Romans 10:17 - So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Now faith is the assurance (substance) of things hoped for. Assurance (substance) hupostasis means to stand by something and refuse to ever budge from it. It is a fixed decision that one will be unmoving and stand by. Faith is standing by things hoped for. Like a bulldog that has found the bone of its dreams and has wrapped its jaw around the bone and refuses to let go This means that we wrap our spiritual jaws around the promise of God. It doesn’t matter how hard life or trials or symptoms try to take away the promise, that person has wrapped their spiritual jaws around that promise and never let go until it is fulfilled.

The Function of Biblical Faith

Meditate on these two words: Authority and Power Eph. 6:12 - For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places Mark 11:24 -Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 1 Cor. 2:14 - The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,? and do not lean on your own understanding.?6 Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways,?and he will make your path straight I am walking in the light of the Word and the Word of God says He has heard me. The Word says I am healed. The Word says I have my healing and I believe the Word of God.

We Win, He (the devil) Loses

Revelation 21:4 - He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:27 - But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 1 Peter 2:11 - Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. Galatians 6:8 - For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.  R. C. Sproul explains it like this: “If ever there is a genuine paradox to be found in Holy Writ, it is at the point of freedom and bondage. The paradox is this: When one seeks to rebel from God, he gains only bondage. When he becomes a slave to God, he becomes free. Liberty is found in obedience. The Anglican poet John Donne understood this when he wrote in a sonnet, “Except you enthrall me, never shall I be free.” 1 Corinthians 10:11 – NIV- These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. 2 Samuel 11:1 – NKJV - It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem. Casualness leads to casualties..

Heed the Warning Be Aware and Win

It means CUTTING AWAY THE PAST. HAVE YOU CUT AWAY WHAT HOLDS YOU BACK FROM FOLLOWING JESUS WITH ALL YOUR HEART? MOVING ON WITH JESUS MEANS CUTTING AWAY WHAT HOLDS YOU BACK. Bethel means House of God – the place where God’s presences dwells. DO YOU HAVE A HUNGER FOR THE PRESENCE OF GOD? DO YOU LONG TO BE IN HIS PRESENCE, HONOR HIS PRESENCE? ARE YOU DETERMINED TO LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE? Jericho means entering the Promised Land. This means walk by faith, not by sight. HAVE YOU PLACED YOUR LIFE UNDER GOD’S CONTROL AND LEARNED TO WALK BY FAITH WITH HIM? HAVE YOU LEARNED TO OBEY HIM, PRAISE HIM, AND SEE HIS VICTORIES COME INTO YOUR LIFE? Jordan means baptism from death to resurrection. It is living the life of fruitfulness. ARE YOU LIVING A LIFE OF FRUITFULNESS IN CHRIST?

Give God All You've Got

In 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Paul writes: For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures… Luke 22:19-20 - And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. The precise medical term for how Jesus died is “traumatic hemorrhagic shock.” Hebrews 12:3-4 - Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. 4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
