In the second part of our broadcast we speak to Ian Cameron, who for the last 52 years has been keeping the the grapevine in front of the old goal alive. Planted in the later 1800's, Ian has kept the vine alive and throughout construction attended to make sure nothing went wrong. We also speak to the owner of Connections Nightclub, Tim Brown. A mainstay in the WA music and nightclub scene for 45 years, Connections is the longest running nightclub in the southern hemisphere and features heavily on the story of WA within the Museum. And finally we speak to MC for the day Yarlalu Thomas. A proud Nyangumarta man who is the 2020 Young West Australia of the year.

We also speak with Trish McDonald, Project Director of the WA Museum; the person who has been there from the onset, making sure the right nails are in the right place and the things inside tell our story. And finally we speak with Margo Neale, the lead Indigenous Curator of the National Museum of Australia. She has been at the forefront of the first major temporary exhibition at Boorla Bardip, the incredible Seven Sisters: a collaborative effort, seven years in the making, taking oral histories of creation from traditional custodians across Australia. The exhibition also features, paintings, sculptures and digital works.

The day's programming featured a special live broadcast from the PICA bar near Perth's Cultural Centre from 10 to 11 AM, when the march started, as well as a special block of programming dedicated to interviews with climate activists from all backgrounds and a special edition of Revolver dedicated to socially conscious women in hip-hop. On the day, Breakfast's Taylah Strano was at the strike in Perth speaking to artists and activists attending the event, including PVI Collective co-founder Kelli McCluskey, Cool Change Contemporary co-founder Jess Boyce, musician Steve Aaron Hughes, independent artist Alex Desebrock and RTRFM's own Danae Gibson, about what attending the strike means to them and what we collectively stand to lose.
