Worked in Munich and Kol̈n after the exams but noticed law etc. He became a hockey player at the age of 6 and a hockey coach at the age of 13. Working as 1sr division Head Coach (Bundesliga) in Berlin, Cologne and Munich. In 2007 to 2013 assistant coach men's national team including 2 Olympic victories (2008 and 2012), 2 European champion titles (20011 and 2013), one vice world champion in 2010, and 2 indoor world champion titles (2007 and 2011). From 2013-2013 MD of an agency for hedging promotion risks. In 2017 to 2019 head coach of the national field hockey team men. After a 4th place at the EM 2019 then released from the job (I like to say “for the first time really getting hit on the job”).
