Wouldn't It Be Heavenly If...

This past week, I’ve spent a fair amount of time with parents and their children. Though the words were not explicitly spoken, the sentiment was there in abundance: “Do as I say, not as I do.” It got me thinking, when do we stop wanting for ourselves what we want for our children? When does it become okay to do otherwise?  We want our children to be kind, compassionate, caring, respectful, and accepting of others’ differences. We want them to communicate their needs clearly and to have patience.  We do not want them to curse, drink, smoke, gossip, backbite, or be mean to each other. We correct them when they act in these ways.  Why? Is it because a societal pattern was set that we mindlessly adhere to? Or is it because we care about them and want them to be their best selves?  I hope it is the latter – that we care about them and want to guide them to be their best selves. And if so, would you not hold yourself to the same standards?  I realize most of the people who come for our weekly Meditation and Healing Circle are pretty self-aware and aligned with their authentic selves. And yet, there is always room for improvement.  So, the question for today is: what do you strive to cultivate for the children in your life that you have forgotten for yourself?  In today’s Meditation and Healing Circle, we will explore this question and offer ourselves the same loving support we would want to give to our children – bridging the gap between “do as I say” and “do as I do.”  As always, this will be an experiential meditation and healing practice. The Meditation & Healing Circle is live every Sunday at 10am US ET / 7am US PT. Preparing for Ascension: Raising the Vibration of the Body

What would you do if you had only 2 weeks to live? This morning I dreamt that a dear friend was telling me I would be transitioning in the next 2 weeks.  I’m not sure if she was referring to death or ascension, but I realized that the preparation is the same. What is death but a transition in consciousness?  In my dream I was excited as the preparations began to align themselves:  What are the affairs I need to get in order to make things easier on my family?Who are the people I love and what do I want to say to them? How would I spend my final time with them? How do I need to prepare my own heart? Does the caterpillar know what it will feel like to fly? Letting Go of Attachments

When a physical body is sick, it attempts to restore itself through homeostasis - using its internal systems to maintain a stable environment, keeping its vital functions within the normal ranges necessary to sustain life. The cosmic body is the same. The systems within the cosmic body must function within a range consistent with the natural rhythms. When the cosmic body is sick, it attempts to regulate itself.  We are all cells within the cosmic body whose natural rhythm is Compassion. Most of creation aligns with the rhythms of the natural existence. But humans have free will. By our nature, we deviate from the natural rhythms and test the waters. We must choose to use our will to align with the natural rhythms. Our cosmic body is sick and is seeking to regulate itself for its survival. Our choices matter in the cosmic body’s restoration to health. Every choice must be a conscious choice for compassion.  In today’s Meditation & Healing Circle, we ask for revelation in areas we need to bring into rhythm – compassion. We ask for guidance & support to live with compassion – for the good of our bodies and the greater cosmic body.The Meditation & Healing Circle is live every Sunday at 10am US ET / 7am US PT.
