Dan is riding solo once again. He thought since the MLB is on their All- Star break that he would bring in some friends who is in his inter circle of Giants fans and talk about their love for the Giants.  Dan introduces this three guest to the program for the very first time his good friend Harris who he met a few years back at a few season ticket holder events and be came friendly from the moment they met each other. He also introduces his college roommate Doug who has been finds with Dan for over 15 years and still going strong and lastly and not least Justin from Talkin Giants and Bleeding Blue and break down how we became friendly over the last year. I thought it would be a fun exercise if we did a snake draft and picked our favorite Giants moments that we've witnessed as fans both the good and the bad. The Hardline Sports Talk Episode 20

With the Isles, unfortunately, bounced from the playoffs the schedule conflicts are back to normal. We have all three guys on the pod tonight with loads to talk about. The leadoff topic tonight was a what-if trade proposal from SNY that would Send Dame Lillard from the Blazers to the Knicks for a huge return that made us relive the Melo deal. We all agreed that the NBA is the only sport you can make those kinds of deals and not get burned by it because it’s such a star-driven league that you can wipe away all the draft capital and young talent for one player and still be able to be in the thick of the playoffs each and every year. After getting swept in Boston last week the Yankees are still in that season-long lull. When is it time to think they might just be a mediocre team at best?  They are starting to show life again this week vs the Angels just in time to face off vs the Mets this weekend. The gang from Queens somehow is still holding on to the first place for dear life. The pitching is still carrying the team. While the bats are approaching the epically bad territory. What will it take for the bats to show any sort of life to help the pitching out just a little bit would just take the Mets to higher and new heights with this core of players? What will the Mets bats do when they head into the Bronx this weekend? With the Isles season wrapped up. Steve gave his preview to his season-long side projects and is excited for what’s to come next season in the new arena in Belmont.  We also touch base on what to look for in the off-season and that starts off in a few weeks with the Seattle Kraken’s expansion draft and who will be unprotected for a chance to be selected by them. Lastly, they go down the list to see who would most likely have the HBO cameras in their training camp for “Hard Knocks” we have a feeling it should be the Cardinals because they have an interesting team to preview going into the 2021 season and would be an enjoyable watch. Due to scheduling conflicts only, Dan was able to record this week. So, Dan Brought in the big guns his cousin Rich. This has been years in the making Dan introduces Rich to the SNDpodcast listeners. We talk about our families love for New York sports and how our family molded us to what we are today. We also talk about how he got into sports broadcasting while being at Seton Hall. We talk about history of watching Giants games together and remembering the career that Eli Manning after the Giants announced they are retiring his #10 and his name in the ring of honor Week 3 of the 2021 vs the Atlanta Falcons. Disclaimer we recorded on Thursday night; the next topics are a little outdated. The Mets are still finding away to win games even when they are completely cooled down and still holding on to the division lead. Will the Mets get out of the June that has always been a rough month for the Mets in the past. They are slowly getting healthy at the right time. What will it take the Mets to enter the all-star break with the division lead? As of Thursday, the Yankees were feeling good and entering the weekend series vs the Red Sox. They have to go back to the drawing board after getting swept this weekend. We basically didn’t see the Yankees completely breaking out of even after a good week before this series so its back to the drawing board for the Bronx Bombers. Lastly, they recap the epic Game 6 Islanders win to force game 7 in the Semi- Finals vs The Tampa Bay Lightning. Dan couldn’t wait for the puck to drop and Rich tried to warn him. Obviously, we know the turn out of the game now. It was a sad defeat here’s to a productive off season hopefully.
