Season 2, Ep. 1: Back at It Again with the March Madness

But the star of the show? My open letter to Duke's Grayson Allen. And it may not be exactly what you expect.

Sports and More is back after an indefinite break, and I offer my thoughts and address some misconceptions regarding the UNC academic-athletic scandal. I also introduce the limited edition Pumpkin Spice Podcast, empathize with Joel Berry's frustration with NBA 2K, and endorse year-round Christmas music. Finally, I wrap things up with a political bedtime story.

Ep. 7: UNC Scandal, Pumpkin Spice, and FIFA

I take some time on today's episode to discuss the tragic Las Vegas shooting, particularly the disturbing amounts of "fake news" and conspiracy theories that I believe are disrespectful to the victims and those in law enforcement trying to piece this case together. I also propose a few simple, reasonable pieces of gun control legislation as a way to hopefully deter a shooting of this scale. Finally, I'm joined by the podcast's first guest, as my friend Rachel Greene helps me debut a segment called "Talking Routes" in response to Cam Newton's recent comments. (Cam has since issued a proper apology, for which I commend him).

You knew this was coming. On this episode, I break down as many angles as possible on the recent waves of protest in the NFL, including Donald Trump's reaction, "disrespect," First Amendment law, how the Dallas Cowboys handled the situation, and more.
