It has been argued that Trump is rude, crude, without morals, without conscience, utilizes bigoted, misogynistic, and demeaning rhetoric. How can the Republican Party leadership say they disagree with him when he acts out but still endorse him? Others have argued that Trump is a special threat to the American Republic, thus the leadership needs to disavow Trump’s proto-fascist attitude, if they wish to have any moral ground to criticize him and reform the Republican Party. Can Politicians Make Deals with Devils?

A significant number of people agree that Donald Trump, aka the Orange Man, is unfit to hold the office of the presidency and may well be a danger to the continued existence of the republic. It is because of this sense of urgency that many voters who have voiced their support for Hilary Clinton, even many of those who had previously supported Bernie Sanders in the primaries, have said this election is a unique emergency situation. They berate both the left wing for considering support Jill Stein, the Green Party nominee, or Gary Johnson, the Libertarian nominee. The more centrist, left of center, and some staunchly progressive seem at a loss to understand why social conservatives, economic conservatives, or some of their more far-left compatriots can’t bring themselves to support Clinton.
