Episode 9: Back To School

Tanya and Sean discuss summer activities for children to keep them engaged.  These activities can be helpful such as chores or they can be fun. Playing at parks can help get their young energy out and is great exercise for them.  Basically anything to get them away from video games and electronics for a while is a win.  This episode will give you several ideas of things to try including a tip for how to make s'mores with two items and less mess.

Tanya and Sean discuss what it's like parenting children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ( ADHD ).  This disorder can be very frustrating for both children and parents.  This episode shines some light on options that are available for coping with ADHD and offers some insight on how to see some positive aspects of this behavioral challenge.

In this episode, Tanya and Sean discuss the challenges their seven year old daughter faces after being diagnosed with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD).  Seven percent of children have some form of APD. This episode may help you determine if your child might have APD and/or provide ideas for accommodations that may help your child if they are already diagnosed.
