In a bid for more screen time, Vicki surprises Michael at school and then proceeds to go into hysterics when he isn't thrilled to see her! To the shock of no one, it turns out Jo is inept at basic budgeting concepts, while Jeana gives marriage advice (ahem) and we're left to wonder about the alternate timeline where she married Tom Selleck instead of Matt. Tammy's skeevy ex-husband makes up a pervy marketing campaign for his new energy drink and ropes in the daughters of the OC to be the face of the brand or "OC Angels". We even get to see the first ever physical fight on a housewives franchise! We here at That's My Opinion don't encourage violence but everyone can appreciate a good energy drink photoshoot brawl.

OC Angels: The OG Influencers??? Season 2 Episode 8

Episode 7 gives us the gift of this convo between Jo and Slade: Slade: “We got invited to Fergie’s album release party!” Jo: “I’m moving to LA with JJ and you aren’t coming” Iconic!! When Jeana brings a dog trainer to their house we find out that not only is Matt a dick to his entire family but also to their dogs, Tammy goes on a blind date with a weirdo, and Ashley continues to be irresponsible with the townhouse but George is helping Lauri lay down the LAW. Finally, Vicki invites an astrologer to a party with the other housewives which ends with her shrieking about how it’s all her horoscope and she’s "not a freak”. We beg to differ.

Ashley's Garbage Paradise: Season 2 Episode 7

This week in the OC, Lauri's starting a jewelry company without George's help, thankyouverymuch! Meanwhile, Jo meets some producers and cuts a demo, all without knowing what bars of music are. Vicki is seething with jealousy over George spoiling Lauri (prob still to this very day, tbh), Tammy's daughter throws a house party while she's out of town, and Jeana just kind of vaguely narrates her kids' exploits? Not all boomers can be wreaking havoc all the time, I guess.

We Think It Means Beautiful Stone: Season 2 Episode 6

There's a visitor in the OC this week as Shane flies in an awkward but sweet Canadian MySpace beauty scene queen that he met online and the visit is as strange as you can imagine. Elsewhere, Jo has a birthday of indeterminate age (FYI: at her present age of "39" she is still hotter than we will ever be) and Slade's masculinity is somehow threatened, Lauri is in Hawaii with the whole fam minus Joshy, Tammy's relationship with her ex(ish) Duff continues to baffle even him, and Vicki is more or less an afterthought. As it should be.

Miss Ontario South: Season 2 Episode 5

This week finds Jo finally FINALLY finding a rock solid excuse to move out from under Slade's clutches and we could not be more thrilled!!(Most of) the women head to the Orange County Home & Garden Show, where they all designed hideous, wildly overpriced show bedrooms. Tammy's ex-husband keeps popping up to an annoying degree, Lauri is living her best rich lady life but Joshie feels left out of it, and Jo finds a way to include an underage bro on a girls night out.

Money Can't Buy Cute Bedrooms: Season 2 Episode 4

Season 2, Episode 3's focus on horse girls is, to be perfectly honest, A Little Much. Tammy and her kids continue to focus on having once been REALLY rich 10+ years ago (they're now only regular-rich), Vicki is a walking contradiction in trashiness, Jeana doesn't know what Columbia University is, Jo and Slade are somehow still (painfully) together, and George and Lauri are the new Mike and Carol Brady and, folks, we LOVE to see it!!!

Welcome back, bbs!! We've had three months of qtine to think about what Jo possibly sees in Slade and we still have no answers for you. Elsewhere in the OC, Vicki unleashes her goblin shriek on tv for the first time over a little! family! van!!!, Jeana lets Shane be a monster to Colton, and Lauri is engaged! Tammy is there too. We've missed you and we hope you are healthy and using this time at home to truly let your reality tv freak flag fly!!

It's the season 2 premiere, baby! The housewives sadly say goodbye to Kim, who's moving to Chicago to escape that SoCal sun. We love to see our girls healthy so this is for the best but we will still miss her and her cute fam. Jo hits the Playboy mansion party without an insecure Slade, Jeana's kids are running amok, and Lauri found love in a hopeless place(the OC)!! We also meet new housewife Tammy, all while Vicki's mom brutally/hilariously points out all of her new wrinkles.

Lauri is in Love! Season 2 Episode 1

A sadly Andy Cohen-less reunion finds our girls coping with their newfound fame on ~the blogs~. We find out that Jo and Lauri are getting 5-10 emails per day about how hot they are and apparently people keep emailing Vicki because they want to get into selling life insurance? Sure. Lauri defends Trashley, Vicki copes with being called controlling, and we are truly devastated to announce that Jo and Slade are back together.

Where the Heck is Andy??? Season 1 Episode 8

Season 1 finale, baby!!! Slade continues his bid for relevancy and believe it or not, he is still thirsty as ever now in 2020. Shane goes to college, so Jeana takes Kara on a totally normal mother-daughter outing--diamond shopping! Ashley moves out of Lauri's house (good riddance), Michael miraculously hasn't failed out of college but HAS been abusing Vicki's credit card, and damn they really made the first season all about the kids, didn't they!?

J Not So Smiley: Season 1 Episode 7

It's the penultimate episode of the first glorious season of RHOC and to quote the inimitable Scheana Shay: IT'S ALL HAPPENING!! Jo and Slade hit a breaking point, Lauri wants an invite to a Playboy Mansion party, Vicki goes buck wild at her high school reunion, and Kim's cancer scare makes us cry legitimate real human tears. Watching this episode was an emotional roller coaster and we're not ready for this ride to end!!

Episode 5 makes us wonder: was Ashley put on this earth to be the bane of not only her mother's existence, but also ours? Why does a grown man spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a mask and costume collection? Is Kim the sweetest housewife to ever grace the OC? (Yes.)(No questions about Vicki because she thrives on the attention, sorry.)

Three $7,000 Batman Costumes?? Season 1 Episode 5

Episode 4 has us finally seeing our girls filming together for the first time at Jeana's bbq! Vicki continues to give us secondhand embarrassment in her quest to be a MILF, Lauri finally gets baby Ryan Cabrera aka Josh out of juvie, and bro baseball player Shane has way more emotional intelligence than we ever imagined.

Coto de Caza BBQ! Season 1 Episode 4

Episode 3 sends Jacki and Liz down a wormhole about the sheer hell of mid-00s real estate and home decor. Slade continues his thirsty campaign for fame, Kim goes on a scarring (for us) girls trip, Vicki and Lauri head to NOLA, and more! A question we’ll never get to the bottom of: how does one apply glitter to horse hooves?
