When we try to do everything perfect, we set ourselves up to fail. And when we fail, like we all do from time to time, it’s easy to beat ourselves up and feel like a failure. Perfectionism kills our joy and our passions. Let’s destroy perfectionism before it destroys us! In this show Rodger and Øystein suggest that perfectionism is based on legalistic strife, while being perfected (the process of sanctification) is a work of grace. The kingdom of God is an upside down kingdom, where the last shall be first and the least are the greatest. Sometimes we as Christians think we have to show people around us that we are strong and can handle every situation. Weakness is often seen as a sign of little faith, and when we face hardship and pain we just want them to disappear. Paul, on the other hand, boasts of his weaknesses. The same is true with our hearts.
