Council '19-Monday Evening Service Dr. Melissa Alfaro is the Under 40 Representative on the Assemblies of God Executive Presbytery. She and her husband of 16 years, Rev. J. Alfaro, serve as the Senior Pastors of El Tabernaculo Assembly of God in Houston, Texas. She is a writer and blogger for the Assemblies of God publication church resource My Healthy Church and loves to chronicle her personal journey on her blog Melissa’s Memoirs. Over the past few days, we’ve been sharing talks from ISM’s Leadership Event: The Summit.   Eran Holt blessed us with his wisdom as he gave our student pastors some inspiring talks on the why of youth ministry and how to create healthy cultures.   Today, we’re going from philosophy to practicality.    In this talk, Eran talks to both our kids and youth pastors on how to effectively transition incoming 5th graders turned 6th graders.   This is one of those talks where Eran gives real life examples of his successes and failures from his own ministry years.
