Today we sit down with Grenadian born and Canadian legend Mr. Eddie Bullen. &nbsp;Eddie is well recognized for his outstanding talents in the genre of contemporary jazz, flavoured with Caribbean rhythms. He has produced over 150 albums and has worked with international talents including &nbsp;Melba Moore, Anslem Douglas, Byron Lee, Maestro, David Rudder, Liberty Silver, Deborah Cox and Dee Dee Bridgewater. He is also a composer and arranger for TV, Radio and Films, has a passion for nurturing youth talent and heads up his record company and publishing company&nbsp; However the focus of our episode today is on Eddie’s personal journey, his loving and charming wife Joanie was diagnosed in 2014 with ALS also known as Lou Gehrig's disease and her sunset was on the February 12, 2015... Our next guest was married for nearly 30 years in her words “to a controlling man who was mentally and verbally abusive” . She finally asked for a divorce, and when he finally left, shortly thereafter, she&nbsp; was let go from her workplace&nbsp; of 16 years&nbsp;in the middle of a pandemic. Devastated by the extreme directional changes in her life , she contemplated ending her life. Fast forward a few months with the help of a "village" and her God she was able to step into her purpose. &nbsp;Take a listen and follow her journey, a story of courage and resilience.

After working for 30 years at one of the most prestigious ad agencies in the world, she was unceremoniously laid-off amidst one of the most devastating events our world has witnessed, the pandemic, coupled with the racial tensions that have also been taking centre stage in the media. She has chosen to memorialize this life changing event in writing, and she is here today to share with us a reading of a chapter in her book sharing with us her experiences of the subtle (and not so subtle) nuances of racism.

Natalie is a “Multi-gifted” &nbsp;prolific writer, a&nbsp;noted background singer and a valued promoter and producer &nbsp;&nbsp;Among her accolades, Natalie co-wrote the theme song "You and Me" for TVs show Half &amp; Half &nbsp;and worked as a background singer for artists such as Mariah Carey and Jessica Simpson. In the midst of a career that was booming and an opportunity to head off to California for further schooling Natalie's life took an abrupt turn. At the age of 39, after suffering a severe seizure, she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain mass located across the complete front of her brain. &nbsp;Her world would never be the same. &nbsp;&nbsp;She &nbsp;has been gracious to chat with us here, &nbsp;12 years post diagnosis&nbsp;about how she was able to overcome some of the challenges she has faced and most importantly how she is able to channel her “unbreakable spirit”
