So these days I actually don't find sleep before 2 am, thought would share this story on my journey with faith my struggle, and the path am on right now. I still don't have all the answers but am trying to do the best I can following what feels right and deciding intentionally what I want to believe and who God is for me, this journey felt scary, to say the least, because I felt wrong not believing what I have known for so long, questioning and not finding answers. At the end of the day, we are all doing our best and you have to do right by yourself. I gave myself space to be on my disbelief journey, I searched for my answers, I was open to other beliefs and circled back to what I believed since childhood because that's what feels right for me. I hope in regards to faith you have found what feels right. EP 36: Late night thoughts on finding and loosing my faith

Why have we normalized assault? I was thinking of my experience in regards to consent and the sketchy situation I have been in. It made me sad that I had to be at the gynecologist's office to realize that I was traumatized by a certain situation, I would have never thought that it was assault until my body couldn't take it anymore. Until I cried in that office, I did not realize how much I was hurt by someone I knew. It's also sad the conversation that has been normalized by the society where they invalidate someone's experience making women live in fear and other people acting so entitled. THAT'S WRONG AND IT SHOULD STOP. NO IS A COMPLETE SENTENCE. I also know this is not something I would normally share (lol not really because am CEO of oversharing) and the details will be kept private due to respect for my story and personal experience. If you want to share your experience feel free to do that in whatever way you feel comfortable i.e talking to a friend or journaling and also get professional help because it's necessary. We should normalize consent and until we have this conversation and talk about these issues and what it really means, the cycle will continue. When it comes to healing that situation I had to honor my experience and accept that it happened, forgive myself, forgive the situation and person and FLEE from them. The therapy also helped. Accepting that situation was wrong and it was wrong moved me forward, also I didn't share with people because the last thing you need is people invalidating your experience, find a safe space and work through the trauma. I recently turned 24 on March 7th. I had this plan to record a podcast and release the podcast on the lessons at least that week, but life happened, was unwell, and just wanted to chill but am back now, trying to fix my recording situation so this is a live session of me talking through my lessons, I wrote a while back.
