Folks, this is the last episode of Two Old Guys Drinking Beer!  My co-host, Bill Holmes passed away this week so I've decided to end the show and this last episode is a small tribute to Bill.  Thanks to all who have listened to us over the past 3 years. Well, Two Old Guys is back after a month hiatus.   While we were gone, the craziness in Washington just got more intense.  We saw 3 mass shootings in the space of a month, and Trump's crime family is enriching themselves and not even hiding it anymore.  I thought August was supposed to be a slow month!  Sheesh.  We review Long Range Pilsner from the great folks at Revolver Brewing Co., and we wind up with a baseball segment that shows the Rangers are the most consistent mediocre team in the history of the majors...  Enjoy!

Episode 9 - Trump is a Crook, some beer and baseball!

Bill and I talk about the mass shootings that occurred last week. Per usual, we are both exhausted and angry at the lack of progress from a national perspective in solving this problem. We talk about the 2nd set of debates and our mutual level of dissatisfaction with both of them. We introduce a new beer from Sierra Nevada, which we both liked, and per usual we round out the show with our update on what's happening in the Major Leagues.  Enjoy! Yes deniers, they actually did it.  Bill and I discuss our memories of that day, some of the benefits from the Apollo program, and then fire the retro rockets, come back to earth and discuss the unholy mess that is the Trump administration.  We have a terrific beer for a change, then we discuss baseball, and darn it, the Rangers are playing like, well, the Rangers.  Pop a cold one, sit back and enjoy!

So, we talked so long on politics in the last recording we decided to break the Father's Day episode in two. Here's the Beer and Baseball segment, finally!   Bill and I try Bikini Atoll, a Gose beer from the Manhattan Project Brewing company.   Suffice to say we didn't care for it very much because of its saltiness and the citrus flavor.
