Carol & Susan McLeod are a couple of sisters who opened "Hold Fast Brewing" in an old firehouse here in Springfield, Missouri. I was friends with Susan before it ever opened and that, combined with the notion of them opening a brewery in THE VERY FIRST FIREHOUSE TO WHICH I WAS ASSIGNED, made it inevitable that they'd get on the show with a story to tell. They love beer, bourbon and storytelling, so buckle up for a great time with two powerhouses of the 417.

Their Greene Ghost is a flagship IPA, followed up by the Greene Dragon, the double IPA which has caused many a wild adventure, and this week they debut The Goliath. This bad rooster is their Triple IPA, and I am here to tell you, it's the smoothest ride you can hope for on the roller coaster of craft brews. Not only did I get to enjoy the ride, I got to know two remarkable folks who display a depth that never ceases to amaze me. Enjoy this truly fun hour!
