Here you’ll find the biggest rant they’ve ever had in years covering representation, hand-me-down hero identities, racial stereotypes, the problems with Live Action Titans show, and Dani getting legitimately offended… all over a viewing of the Batwoman Season 2 trailer. Ep 49- Control Of Various Individual Devices

Animaine & Dani power through a video clip from a “Power of Women” panel where several successful Black women in the entertainment industry talk about the stresses of… being a successful Black woman in the entertainment industry. They lament over White men’s apparent ability to “Never Really Have To Promote Theirselves”, as well as take shots at Isaac Newton, whose life was so unbothered he had the spare time to just sit around and think up calculus. Animaine & Dani talk about the 2020 Netlfix original animated series Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts in the upfront. Then transition into a discussion about an upcoming Ellen Page movie about an E-sports teams of girl gamers with a Gamergate backdrop, the 1st season of CW's Batwoman and the upcoming season featuring a new Black Batwoman, and much more!

Ep 47- Party City Batwoman

Animaine & Dani Marie are joined by Tabby Wesa to discuss Magical Girl Friendship Squad, a new adult cartoon on Syfy that parodies Magical Girl Anime. They review various aspects of the show that don’t work for them, from character design and animation to failed attempts at humor and how unlikable the characters are. This expands into a larger discussion about the state of western animation, good examples of adult cartoons, tropes & themes in Magical Girl Anime, an over-reliance on reference jokes, and much much more!

They open with talk about their shared love of the Rocket Knight game series & Tabby's time in online artist and fanart circles, then transition into talking about dealing with political lightweights on Twitter and how her her politics changed throughout her life. Ep 44- Tabby the Mad Lass w/ Tabby Wesa

Animaine & Dani kick off the 1st full ep of their former in-show segment by reviewing the 1st issue of Tuskegee Heirs by Greg Burnham & Marcus Williams. The futuristic Sci-Fi series, that launched in 2016, follows 5 youth pilots as they go from training in secret on the Historic airfields of the Tuskegee Airmen, to rescue missions and giant mech battles. Burnham & Williams have a very unique art and storytelling style, and this series puts all of their great talents on parade while infusing real Black History in the mix as well. No one does Black folks in comics like this Dynamic Duo, and this entry in the "Kids piloting robots to save the world" genre is one you definitely need to check out!

Unsigned Hype 1- Tuskegee Heirs Issue #1

Dani and Animaine take a few minutes to reflect on the life of Chadwick Boseman, following his passing on August 28th. The 43 year old actor was a shining star, and he used his short time in the spotlight to inspire generations of men, women and children. Chadwick Forever.
