A bum foot has kept Troy on the injured list, but the Varsity Kansas City team soldiers on and sets up for the MSHSAA State Football semi-finals in Class 1-5 and the Class 6 championship.

Several teams piled on the points in week 2, but panelist Troy Chrisman maintains this will still be the year of defense. The Varsity Kansas City crew keeps this in mind as they review week 2 action and look ahead to some big matches in week 3 of the Fall 2019 season.
