This week on the Vistamar Podcast, we have Natalie A. ('21) and Michael C. ('20) to talk to us about how the recent COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of our juniors and seniors. Natalie is a rising senior who needs to take the SAT and ACT to get into college, but many of the exam dates have been canceled. Michael is a graduating senior who gives us his thoughts on potentially beginning his first college year in a virtual classroom. Listen to how they really feel about these standardized tests and how schools should change their requirements after the pandemic.

This week on the Vistamar Podcast, we continue our discussion on the philosophical question: If everyone on Earth had to relocate to Mars, who would go first and who would go last? Mr. Dawson expands on this question by asking the group "What will happen to people who sneak to Mars before it's their turn?" The answers to these question get very interesting when the fact that that their responses resemble today's immigration policies. Listen to this episode to find out their answers!

Our students are refreshed from our mid-trimester break and they also bring some refreshing topics this week. We start by having Colin, Damari, Sophia, Jaylen and Josh telling us about their experience with Soulful Celebration. Then, Ike is planning on adopting a cat and wants to hear our thoughts on pets (we have a lot of strong opinions!) After that, Mr. Dawson revisits our ethical space travel question from last week.
