Episode 24- The Very Last Episode Ever (For Now!)

Still in Takehara, relaxing at our friend’s home, eating snacks in his living room while he works hard for the money all day to come home and entertain us!  Crunchy edamame snacks, classic Choco Flakes, a tea cake from the temple, melon pan cookies, pocari sweat, and a fried piece of sardine(?) form the supermarket! Second to last episode on our year long venture through Asia!!

Episode 23- Where else do you buy a fried mystery fish fillet but the small town supermarket?

Red bean Popsicle flavored potato chips, peanut snacks Sanz peanuts, homemade plum wine, a bag of the most delicious air, and seaweed candy! All this, plus stories of the smallest town’s Bon Festival. How badly can Jami uncomfortably dance in her yukata surrounded by a group of drunken Japanese men and a Taiko drum? How much beer can Brandon chug constantly given glasses of beer by these same men. Find out! All this, a bunch of crunch-o-meters, stories of our stay with our most favorite couch surfing host and now friend, and ALL OF THE FOOD we’ve eaten in a few days time!

Episode 22- They're Confusing To Me So I'm Taking One Point Away

It’s an episode all about chips!! Beef curry ramen golden grams, American style duo flavored potato chips, beef Cheetos, Mexican flavor tortilla chips, spaghetti aglio olio flavored ridges, red bean popsicle grandma flavored thin potato chips, and finally a STRONG ZERO! Don’t worry, none of these flavors made sense to us either! We’re back in Japan, and we’ve immediately hit up the convenient store for all of the confusing brightly colored goods!

Episode 19- You Can't Get a Little Sausage Even if you Wanted To

How much do you hate it when you’re cheese puffs contain no cheese? Is shrimp and chocolate a match made in heaven? Will the chicken snacks taste like they just came out of a deep frier? What flavor is tropical shark? And how spicy will these tteokbokki chips be? All this! Plus, our mic decided to stop working, so hang in there for the terrible sound quality. On the plus side, the crunches (and plenty more) do come through! We’re in Seoul baby!

Episode 18- We're Having Technical Difficulties

This week, we explore the second largest city in Korea, Busan! Oh ya, and it's a NEW COUNTRY! Bland bean breakfast, Jami's new addiction, unexpected salt in the soy milk, rice treats, a melon we sometimes see old men chomping down on in the street, and a spicy fish cake! All this, plus we hit up the biggest fish market in the country run by a bunch of bad ass ladies, practice our non existent Korean, and eat the weirdest fucking french fries. Why are they weird you ask? You'll just have to listen to find out!

Episode 17- The World's Saddest Aquarium

Taipei! You’re so fun! Sooooo many stories about snacks we ate over the week, new toys, and the best few night’s rest sleeping in a bookstore! Street salad in a bag, rice snack, dumplings, and a pudding milk tea explosion! Plus a video of Jami getting her face threaded, her new tattoo, and her new recycled paper drink holder. All this, and soooo much more!!

Episode 16- Street Salad

This week, we’re in Tainan, Taiwan’s food capital! We’ve got some sweet tofu from an old man who only dishes up this typical sweet on the weekend in front of the post office, a spring roll unlike any you’ve ever had, a typical snack/meal of rice steamed in banana leaves, muuuushy dumplings, and a taro peanut milkshake that would appease any smoothie lover! It was a week full of food!!!

Episode 15- We Ate the Whole of a Pigs Intestine

Our snacks might not be so wacky this week, but they are delicious, and a great introductory to Taiwan. Fried chicken bigger than your head rubbed with secret Taiwanese spices! An anime treat we’ve only dreamed of trying! Old lady egg pancake. Specialty boiled egg from a convenient store. And the basic of basics here, a milk bubble tea! All these snacks, plus soft core tentacle porn, stinky tofu, and small town living.

Episode 14-Taiwan 101

Sausage that looked so juicy, we had to try it! The squishiest jewel looking sweets. Donuts not worth our time. 2 kinds of coconuts and their water. And some sort of white powdery candy from a lady on her bike.

Sorry we’re late, we’ve had trouble with internet. But we’re here now with an all new episode! Woo! Family pizza lunch happening outside our door while we sneak eat fried lotus seeds, some sort of chewy mung bean cake, and 3 mysterious chunky to the point of needing a spoon beverages, all while listening to the outside noises of the neighborhood and a surprise interruption from the dad of the house on a fine Sunday afternoon!
