The entire episode is about Baz Luhrmann's very divisive 1996 film which really was the kickoff to a bunch of Shakespeare films that were targeted towards a Teen audience. We discuss Luhrmann's very unique style, his very strong and also kind of dated cast. Plus the soundtrack which also goes off on a tangent about 1990's film soundtracks in general. And the pro's about setting Shakespeare in a modern setting in order to reach a audience that otherwise just would not take to the source material. It may have been delayed a year but it's time to finally kickoff Euro 2020. On this delayed edition of the Wasting Your Time Podcast. Rob and John finally get to preview the Euro 2020 Tournament which kicks off June 11th. After a year delay due to COVID the anticipated tournament finally gets going all over Europe.
