Preacher Season Four Episode Eight

Pat returns to help Scott play a rousing round of CHOOSE YOUR MESSIAH as they cover episode seven of the final season of Preacher. God wants Humperdoo, Hitler wants Jesus and Heaven and/or Hell wants Jesse, but will he accept the throne? Meanwhile Cassidy and Tulip visit an old friend in the search for Humperdoo, Starr is futilely pursuing his lost penis and Jesse is dead, but gets a visit with Fiore the angel. Scott goes solo this time to cover episode six of the final season of Preacher. Preacher Season Four Episode Six

Scott and Pat finally crawl their way out of the time tunnel to cover the very last episode of Legion ever!!! Its been a wild ride and our finale finds the final confrontation with present (Future? I have a headache) David and Charles Xavier from the past against past and future Farouk, but the outcome might be something you didnt expect. Kerry and Syd battle time demons, Dan Stevens sings some Pink Floyd and we find out that Stitch might not be just your run of the mill mutant. Legion Season Three Episode Eight The Series Finale

Pat Delmore is back with Scott this week to recap episode five of the final season of Preacher. Cassidy is a free vampire once again and trying to decide if he wants to hit the road with Tulip and Jesus for a care free trip or go try to save his best mate Jesse. Meanwhile the Saint and Eugene are waiting for Jesse to use the voice so they can track him and kill more innocent bystanders (well, not Eugene). Hitler and Starr are getting ready to have the conference to kick off the apocalypse, Featherstone is ready to own up to her mistakes and we finally meet what is probably the parents of Genesis with all the mayhem and resurrection that entails. Preacher Season Four Episode Five

“Laugh Track” Tina Patterson comes to help with a “Search and Rescue” of the Preachercast this week as her and Scott recap episode four of the final season. Jesse and Pilot Steve are trying to get to Australia, but it might not be by plane. The conference between Heaven and Hell to kick off the apocalypse is about to begin and Tulip is still undercover in Masada as valet to Jesus Christ himself. Starr is having some problems with his ear replacement surgery, Cassidy is settling up with Toscani and an annoying angel and Lara Featherstone still cant catch her nemesis Tulip. Preacher Season Four Episode Four

Its our triumphant 75th issue of Weekly Heroics and those deviants Beth and Brian Hughes are back with Scott on the Preachercast to discuss episode three of season four. Melanie and Oliver are back in a fantastical tale of the astral plane and the Big Bad Wolf. Syd is found as a baby by the kindly couple and they raise her to be the person she needs to be to stop David, but there are wolves in these woods and the constant danger of hilarious rap battles. Back to “Reality” and Charles and David marshal their forces to fight Farouk in the past. Meanwhile Syd and Cary and Kerry are fighting time demons and Switch has seen better days. Preacher Season Four Episodes One and Two

David goes to war for Chapter 24 on Legion and Pat and Scott are here to talk you through the carnage. Division Three is about to have a real bad day as David, with a little help from Farouk, locates their flying fortress and brings the fight to them. A lot of people die, or nobody does, depending on if David can go back in time and “fix” things. Syd plays her card, Farouk is still scheming and Clark is trying to naughty Skype with his husband. Other than that its just a music filled murder fest that is setting us up for the final three episodes. Legion Season Three Episode Five

Scott and Pat take on the fourth episode of Legions final season and in true X-Men fashion we learn that mucking about with time can cause some serious problems. Except when it comes to pop culture references and we get a fair few in this one. Everything is wonky and Davids attempts with Switch to “save” his infant self has let loose the Time Demons, who look suspiciously like either The Goddess Kali or Blue Meanies, take your pick. Farouk and the Division Three folks are off exploring a French science fiction movie, Lenny is just trying to get her love child into the world and David gets to talk to his mom when she was in the camps. Syd gets drunk with her past self, maybe, Ptonomy has some temporal and some mustache issues and Cary Loudermilk breaks Davids spell, so you know, this means war. Four more episodes to go and we have no idea whats to come, or has that part of the podcasts time stream just been devoured? Your guess is as good as ours, but were looking forward to completing the journey with you on Weekly Heroics Legioncast. 

Legion Season Three Episode Four

Legion finally gets to let its X-Creds hang out as we get the story of how a boy named Charles met a girl Named Gabrielle and they eventually had a boy named David. This version of Xavier was a patient in a mental hospital just like his future son and we see how he meets and falls in love with a troubled woman named Gabrielle Haller. Charles uses his powers for deception and death in his early days, builds a funny hat with wires coming out of it and finds a guy named Farouk, leaving his infant son and wife alone to experience future David trying to save his infant self. David and Switch cant quite break through to be of any help though and there may be some future dental work because of it. The Stones are back, many callbacks and parallels to the first season and timey wimey predictions by Scott and Pat about where the story goes from here. Legion Season Three Episode Three

Scott and Pat are back to talk about “A Boy Named Charlie Brown”, or wait, I must be on drugs, I meant to say Legion “Chapter 21”. David is preparing to use Switchs time travel powers to “fix” the world, but there may be some difficulties to overcome which involve lots of Peanuts references, an Alice in Wonderland homage and a Squirrel interrogation (its Legion, just go with it, man). Will Syd ever forgive David for his rapey ways in the last season? Will Clark push the shiny red button? Does Aubrey Plaza make the best Mad Hatter ever (the answer is yes). Will Scott stop using so many quotes and parenthesis in these write ups? Its Legion, so it might just all be in Davids head or at least in the stuff his hippie commune is smoking. When Scott McGregor and Chris Tyler touch their cosmic television remotes together they merge to become Bingestorm: A hero for the "OnDemand" age. As Bingestorm Scott and Chris have the power to consume all of the various Marvel and DC television shows past, present and future and then project them into your ears as moderately entertaining podcasts. In this weekly show, Scott and Chris will recap one episode of a Marvel show like Agents of SHIELD and one from a DC show like Arrow or Flash. And if the Red Kryptonite is flowing that day, they might just break format to bring you something else. It is a golden age for superhero television and Weekly Heroics is not necessarily the index podcast we need, but it's the one we deserve right now.
