Police Officer Charles Whites Round Rock Police Department, Texas End of Watch Friday, April 27, 2018 Police Officer Charles Whites succumbed to injuries sustained on February 25th, 2018, while directing traffic. Corporal Eugene Cole Somerset County Sheriff's Office, ME EOW: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 Cause: Gunfire Between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. EST on April 25, 2018, a male offender shot Corporal Cole, then stole his fully-marked cruiser, drove to Cumberland Farms in Norridgewock, ME and committed a robbery.  The offender then fled the store in the patrol car.  The offender was captured on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at about 12:43 after a manhunt. Condolences go out to the family, friends, and co-workers of Corporal Cole. The names of the suspects or defendants in criminal cases are not published as not to bring notoriety to their name and the heinous criminal acts. *The audio for James in this episode sounds strange because duplicate audio streams were being broadcast. Police Officer Rogelio Santander, Jr. Dallas Police Department, TX EOW: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 Cause: Gunfire On April 24, 2018 Officer Santander, Jr. and Officer Crystal Almeida were arresting a shoplifting suspect. Body-camera footage that showed the shoplifter pulling a handgun from his pocket and shooting both officers.  Officer Santander succumbed to his injuries and died on April 25, 2018.  Officer Almeida is still being treated in the hospital. Condolences go out to the family, friends, and co-workers of Officer Rogelio and Officer Crystal Almeida remains in our thoughts and prayers.
