WTATL - EP105: "Saudi Squid Game"

Episode 104 - The team open with a discussion on the thriller at Anfield as Man City come from behind twice to draw with title rivals Liverpool. WTATL - EP104: "Sensational Salah"

Episode 103!We open with Arsenal’s stunning win in the North London Derby over Spurs as they claim bragging rights over their fierce rivals. We discuss Mikel Arteta’s side excellent performance giving great praise to the stars from Hale End and Aaron Ramsdale. Next, we discuss Man City’s excellent performance against Title rivals Chelsea highlighted by their fantastic pressing game, we give thoughts on Chelsea’s negative approach to the game and how they lost it. Man Utd lose back to back games at Old Trafford after they slip up against Villa, whilst giving praise to Villa’s performance, we ask whether Ronaldo should've taken the penalty after Bruno’s costly miss. There’s also chat about Liverpool’s entertaining draw away at the league’s surprise package Brentford. Episode 102. The team are back in the building in full with a recap of our spotlight game as title favourites Chelsea win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tanya gives us her opinion on Spurs' approach and doesn’t understand Nuno’s tactics after back to back 3-0 defeats whilst there’s praise for Tuchel’s men after another convincing win. Abdi is still dissatisfied despite Arsenal’s second consecutive 1-0 away at Burnley. We discuss the pros of cons of Arsenal’s improvement in results as well as predicting Burnley’s fortune for this season. Mark discusses another impressive win for Liverpool who maintained their unbeaten start to the season. Mark gives his honest opinion on Liverpool’s hopes and expectation for the season. After we debate on Mark Noble’s penalty miss against Man Utd, we cover all the rest of the PL action and select our Man of the Week!

Episode 101!We're back with another jam packed week of talking points in the world of Premier League football! We open with Spurs' defeat at Crystal Palace after Edouard grabbed a brace and Tanganga's red card. Tanya questions Nuno after a very disjointed performance from her side. She questions the selections of Dele and Winks after a very flat showing from the Spurs midfield. There's praise for Conor Gallacher and Edouard as Patrick Vieira gets off the mark with his first win. Next we cover the Utd game as Ronaldo marks his return with a brace and the team get into an intense debate over the Ronaldo vs Messi argument. Who is your GOAT? Arsenal get off the mark with a win over Norwich as the Gooners give their opinion over a much needed win for Arsenal at the Emirates and they discuss the conundrum of Nicolas Pepe. As well as discussing the rest of the weekend's action, we give praise to a dominating performance from Liverpool over Leeds despite a horror injury to Harvey Elliot. Episode 99.As we creep up to the big century of podcasts, the team are back with an in depth recap on Liverpool's draw at home to 10 man Chelsea. Episode 97! It's a tough one for the Arsenal boys as our spotlight game is Chelsea's convincing win away at the Emirates as Romelu Lukaku returns to the Premier League in style. Abdi and Junior are scathing in their assessment of Arsenal's wretched start to the season and cover their experience of going to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. Next we cover Liverpool's excellent performance over Burnley with particular praise for the return of the main man Van Dijk and young prospect Harvey Elliot. Mark then previews Liverpool's top of the table clash with Chelsea and speculates over selections and possible formations. As well as chat about Brighton's bright start to the season and Bissouma's future, Tanya questions the quality of Dominic Calvert-Lewin whilst discussing the merits of Adama Traore and his like to Spurs. Man Utd drop points at Southampton, Palace and Brentford see out a bore draw and Leicester crash and burn at the Happy Hammers as we heap praise on the impressive Michail Antonio and David Moyes. Who was our Man of the Week? Episode 97 - 3 weeks from the big 100!! The Premier League is back and what a weekend of football we have to unpack. Big Tans is pleased as Spurs make it 4 in a row at home against Champions Man City. Tanya gives her thoughts on some excellent performances whilst we unpack the Kane saga and where it went wrong for Pep Guardiola's side. Elsewhere Arsenal kicked off the premier league campaign with a typical shambolic performance as they lose to Brentford. Abdi and Junior go nuclear on the players and particularly Mikel Arteta. Liverpool kick off their campaign with a comfortable win at newly promoted Norwich City.
