Drew Ndengabaganizi (yes we learn how to say it in this ep!) is a DP (Director of Photography) here in Columbus, but we talk about nearly everything else other than video stuff in this one!  In one of my favorite conversations I've had on this show, Drew and I dive in to SO much about life. From creative and career to just day to day. We talk about how we've been trying to get better at just doing things "for the fun of it" and not allowing everything to be a career move and battling that "always be hustling" culture that has formed nowadays. We cover a LOT about social media culture and the battle of finding a good balance within using it, both as personal use and business use, with no only creating FOR social but allowing it to be simply part of your creative venture, and how to simply not get caught up in the machine that it's become. We also cover how a conversation with a Doctor that hated his life choices completely changed Drew's life and career path, and how all this led him to having the outlook on living a fulfilled life that he carries with him now.

Gabe McQueen is the lead vocalist of the band 'Inferious', a writer and all around a creative dude! The latter parts of that I just found out as I've only ever known him as "Gabe from Inferious" as all of our interactions had been in bits and pieces on music video sets. Through those moments though we bonded over a mutual love of horror movies, and all of that, brings us to here. I was stoked to finally get to sit down and get to know Gabe better, as he falls into the category of "friends I wanted to know better", a reoccurring theme here on the podcast. We cover growing up as the son of two Pastors and a religious household, feeling sheltered most of his life, uncovering who he really was as he became an adult, how it all shaped his views on life, people, religion & more. We of course talk how he got into the heavier side of music, what his Mom thought of our music video where we had him perform a demonic ritual and for about the first 30 mins we talk about horror movies some more!

You might know Ryan Francis as an actor from the indie cult-favorite movie "ThanksKilling". If you don't know Ryan, you're about to find out that he's much more than the dude from a horror-comedy. Ryan is an event promoter, with his lead annual charity event the "Huge Euge Comedy Show", he's toured in punk bands, he's made NerdCore rap, he's signed autographs at conventions, sang songs with the original Sesame Street actors, and truthfully he's lived a life full of WILD experiences that sound totally made up! In this episode you'll hear some incredibly fun stories from hanging out with WWE Legend "Virgil" (meatsauce included) to experiencing early viral fame of "ThanksKilling" being on the OG Netflix. Amongst these tales though you'll get to know one of the raddest and down to earth people I've ever had the pleasure of becoming friends with.  This is me introducing you to the new episode, but this is also me urging you to meet Ryan. It was a few months ago when Cole released a new collection of music through THP and shared a caption entailing a wild story of what the last 2 years of his life was and I knew I wanted to get him on to hear all about it. Filled with ups and downs, in this episode as Cole shares his story, we talk about the TWO car crashes that led him to dealing with severe concussions for most of 2019-2020, what it was like not being able to write music during that time or even get out of bed, a relationship coming to its end in the middle of all of this and how it all piling on made him feel helpless, how he got himself back to living a normal life, how he tries to keep a positive outlook on things, the story of The Hunting Project, stories from working at a hospital during COVID & lots more in this one.
