Episode 123! We have a guest today - Nicole! J is having a Lemon-Lime Gatorade Zero, Nicole is having a pomegranate cherry seltzer water from Canada Dry, and K is having a Angelene Vineyard's Pinot Noir from California. Then Nicole tells us about her hobby of beekeeping. Topics include, making beer and meade, learning how to keep bees, queen bees, bees in the cold, bees in your car, royal jelly, queen cage, and bears and bees, plus she answers our 10 questions for crafters! K is stuffing Knitted Knockers, Nicole is making some blankets and Christmas gifts, and J has been commissioned to make a project for family and made a strawberry pie. K's excited to volunteer at the Zoo, Nicole happy for her sister's education and job prospects, and J is glad she's stuck with learning her German on Duolingo. Be a good human! This week we're discussing our vacation horror stories. Topics include: illness/injuries on vacation, flight cancellations and rebookings, forgetting important travel documents, a terrible Air BnB experience, and lost luggage. J's working on a project for her great Aunt and ended up buying a bunch of yarn at Michaels and K is making scrunchies with fun yarn. Episode 121! We recorded together, in person for the first time in OVER A YEAR! We're having a French wine from Bordeaux, a red blend that is mostly cabernet sauvignon. This week we're talking about healthcare issues. Topics include: lots of doctor appointments, awkward health issues, getting prescriptions filled and prescription costs, healthcare costs, lack of communication, your body not being what it used to be, googling conditions, insurance companies, and med students doing procedures. K's working on a headband and J's making flowers for her Mickey Ears AND we give each other the stuff we've been collecting for each other.
