Holy crap guys. This show in amazing. It has so much representation it's insanity, and they tackle so many huge and important topics without ever making it seem overstuffed or two dimensional. Our boy Freddy Highmoore kills it (no one was surprised) and there is really only one detriment to this show... note enough Shemar Moore. Well we've officially been doing this long enough that I think we hit our equivalent of a clip show. We agree that Criminal Minds isn't a bad show, it's just also not a good show, so we reminisce on so many other shows that we've watched. Did you guys know we watched Ugly Betty? I literally forgot. Criminal Minds is exactly what you'd expect if to be "FBI Procedural" that does a terrible job of casting episode specific actors and has them play neurodivergent children. Some upsides, we come up with a spin off "The Hunks of Criminal Minds" coming this fall. Well we after a brief hiatus of a week to remind ourselves that this is a comedy podcast we're back in full swing with lots of zingers and even some good natured celebrity net worth guessing games. This week we watch a mid two thousands, which felt like a mid nineties sitcom, that somehow both does and doesn't explain where David Spade has been the last ten years. Rules of Engagement is a show, we know that much, but it almost feels more like a writing prompt in a creative writing elective at your local community college. When we first started this podcast, it was loosely based on one premise "pick shows where if you had to watch a random episode of a random season, you would have no idea what the hell was going on." Well, we finally got one of those paramount shows that gave us that idea. Listen along as we discuss the massively successful mid 2000's hit: LOST with our good friend and local make up guru Laura Schofield. We discuss what makes this show so good, how easy it seems to get down the rabbit hole with it, and how happy we are that JJ Abrams turned out the way he did. American society has changed, perhaps it's a cool dichotomy to say that a show about nothing both always endures and does not age well. Come along as we are joined by good friend and Local I.T. Guy Josh Black and dive into the relative madness that was Seinfeld in the early 90's. This show has everything, the classic Seinfeld cadence, hilarity about nothing and jokes about rape and suicide. ... okay, so some things definitely hold up better than other. We discuss how this show is funny, but problematic and weirdly enough parallels The Witch a lot more than you'd think. We also take personality tests to find out who our Seinfeld characters are. Oh, also, don't dump a bag of cement in a washing machine.

Honestly, it's hard to tell because this show seems like it would be hella cool back in the early days of the new millennium, but now it just seems kind of... comical? Seriously, some of the foley sound is so bad. The good ol days when JJ Abrams was just a wee little writer, only beginning to show his awesome prowess in creating stories and most of us had some kind of AOL account. If you're wondering what we thought of the actual show, well, it was good, not Girls Gone Wild at 3am on Comedy Central good, but good. (Listen along to our episode of Alias to get that joke!)
