I was so unhappy with so many aspects and never felt my voice heard... It was horrible. This is also a warning to those who want to be part of the organization, or even are currently... Your mental health will suffer. You will hurt in so many ways without even knowing you're hurt. I do not trust the governing body (the men in charge of the organization). #216- I'm back! Update while in quarantine & social distancing

Hi everyone! So it's been awhile... I took a much needed break from podcasting because #1 Eric was going on winter break and #2 I didn't have anything I wanted to talk about with that passion I usually have.... Until now :) I feel refreshed and full of this new energy that has opened my mind even more than it was before. In todays episode, I talk about why we as parents need to stop treating our kids like they're dumb, like they are too young to know or understand certain things, to have those awkward and tough conversations about every day life as an adult.... We are their teachers, their role models, the ones they look up to the most... Shouldn't we be the ones helping to prepare them as much as possible? I remember being 7/8 years old and already knowing what sex is... I remember being 12 years old and understanding that my stepdad was an alcoholic who was constantly being unfaithful to my mom.... I was 10 when I found out my brother had a different father than I did.... I was 9 when I my stepmom showed her true colors and I saw how jealous she was of the relationship I had with my dad at the time.... And the list goes on of things that I understood without any adult having a conversation with me about it.
