My point is in the last few episodes we have provided vast education and perspective. Some agree and some do not, which is totally fine. In season 3, the focus has changed we want to give EVERYONE something to look forward to. Heres a break from the politics....can we add value?What does that even mean?Can we make some one else's life better with our life?Are we giving in a relationship what we also expect back in return?Life is all about adding value, your job hired you because they expect you to bring a certain value to the company....Your partner believes that you add value to their lives...we must learn to add value.Value-the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.So i ask, what value do you bring to your job, to your relationships, to other life? Are you adding value?

What is Systemic Trauma?

In this episode of Asking for a Friend we have 3 of my friends on to discuss a multitude of issues that we as Black Americans face and how do we elevate and over come. We gain perspective over why does Pro black not mean anti white. We give a VERY informed perspective with educational and historical references. Tatianna gives the strong views as we speak on the black community as far as women's rights and the feminist movement. Shaquille talks about him becoming an author and speaking of love and how do we become educated so that we can move forward. Johnny Fengshui gives his accounts on people not being naive but willfully ignorant to the issues that face all of us.This conversation is sparked by love, understanding and recognizing that we must move forward as a people. We as Black Americans need to be educated on who we are, where we came from and how we can move forward. White Americans must recognize what is going on and not just sweep under the rug and help us. Who better than Ms. Ariel....why might you ask?Well Ariel Broke her back in an accident at the gym....where she was told she could be paralyzed for the rest of her life. Her being an entrepreneur this was a very realistic scary proposition she was in but she overcame.
