Although we'll never know the family dynamics between them, it was clear in Deborah's behavior that she never regarded her son with much love or appreciation.  PS- We left out that David Jackson, Stephanie's husband, also received 10 years for tampering with evidence. The couple had one boy together, here's to hoping he didn't inherit the (imo) cursed ranch.
