Adventure of the Lamp and Discoveries. The girls welcome Rosalind back into the fold.  They find some of their lost possessions, but Alison makes a horrifying discovery about her lamp.  Marcia may not be causing trouble at school any longer.

Without Leave and In Miss Harland's Office. Marcia and Rosalind become good friends.  Marcia talks Rosalind into going to a party with her AWOL.  This leads to disaster. Marcia has to start covering her tracks.

Miss Burnett assigns an essay writing contest.  The girls all work on their essays and some of them work harder and do better than others.  Miss Burnett is a little surprised at two of the essays and investigates how they were written.  Also, some of the girls' possessions are missing.

Briarwood College and Some of the Girls. The girls return to Briarwood College at the end of the summer and settle in.  There's a new teacher and a new student.  The new student doesn't seem very friendly.
