In this edition of the Dietz4Iowa Podcast, we switch gears! It's almost summer and that means it's time for Figure 8 racing in Iowa. This year, Blake and Ciera Gunderson of Hampton are in their first year as owners of what was formerly known as the Meyer Motorsports Racing Series, and is now Gunderson Racing. We take a look back at 2016 points standings, then Blake joins us to talk about their new venture, some changes for the season and the excitement building up around the 2017 Figure 8 racing season in North Central Iowa.

Uploaded on August 13, 2016 this episode contains an interview I conducted on January 20, 2011 with former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson who is the Libertarian Party's 2016 Presidential nominee, and was also the Party's 2012 nominee. Toward the end, I give some of my thoughts on 2016. I hope not to talk much about the national political scene, but it's a Presidential election year, so I'll cut myself a little slack this time, plus this interview was already done and it was relevant.
