Derek had a great chat with Paul on his approach and techniques when dealing with his kids. Paul runs Derek through one example of how the family came to a rational agreement on the best way to handle the screen time issue using an ACT matrix. Armed with a piece of paper, a pen and some post-it notes, Paul managed to come to a calm agreement on sensible screen use. Next episode Paul will be running Derek and his 12 YO son through a similar position, but not something as serious and volatile as screen time.
