Part 2 Acomi and Turk182 continue their discussion on the announcement by Wizards of the Coast (WOTC), publishers of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying games, that they are removing racial lore, attributes, and alignments from the coming 6th Edition. No longer will Orcs be carnivorous, unkempt, beasts that live to fight and would eat a human raw if it took more than five minutes to cook them. Now, they can be peaceful, vegan, fat-free soap makers that travel from town to town preaching love and meditation. Dwarves are no longer drunks with battleaxes. Trolls are no longer greedy. Centaurs are normally endowed. Characters will not be bound by their history and culture and geographic location. Festivals where attendees show up in Drow-face will be against the law. Leash laws no longer apply to manticores. Male RPGers will still be able to play as overly buxom, hyper-overly sexual women, but it will be frown upon. They're also removing "inappropriate" magic items such as Hefner's Girdle of Charm, which gives +5 charisma, but -2 intelligence.    The changes WOTC is enforcing are uncalled for. Meaning nobody called for this! RPGs give players the freedom to play any race, class, and alignment as they see fit. Removing the lore destroys character traits, rips the heart out of the worlds, and reduces everything to a grey palette where everyone is potentially equal, and removes incentive to play and race but human. Acomi and Turk discuss why addressing real life issues in a fantasy world is ridiculous and unnecessary. What Is Wizards Thinking - Part 1

Acomi and Turk182 lock their doors and invest in bottled water while they watch Nightmare At Noon (1987). Starring Bo Hopkins and Wings Hauser (who looks like a poor man's John C McGinley), as two men who find themselves, for completely different reasons, trapped in a small backwoods town whose residents are turning into zombie-like creatures. With nowhere to run and no one to turn to, they have to solve the mystery and stop the creatures themselves; or become their latest victims. Wait! That's the plot of Mutant (1984)! Essentially, the same movie, but with Bo Hopkins and John C... I mean, Wings Hauser playing different roles. This time around, we also have George Kennedy as the town sheriff and Brion James as a mute albino who's responsible for everything.  Just as confusing as its predecessor, Nightmare At Noon explains even less as to the how or why, and makes it all more complicated. Too bad, there wasn't a third attempt to get it right.  So, settle in for a big heaping of deja vu and join Acomi and Turk for Nightmare At Noon (1987). Lost In the Forgotten, Part 2

Acomi is back once again with a another text based adventure solo episode. To prevent having the same game play issues that he had before *snicker*, he decides to use AI Dungeon.  In traditional Acomi fashion, his first AI generated adventure doesn't go quite as planned with him constantly being "in a pickle". But, before he can attempt to get out of it, he gets trapped in a "create account and log in" loop. Forced multiple times to create an account and log in, he's finally successful and travels to the AI land of Kadar.  Unfortunately, Kadar has its issues as well, and Acomi settles on being abducted by a harpy. A somewhat attractive harpy, that wants to eat him but for desert, not dinner. But, Acomi can't have nice things and decides to twist the AI into his way of thinking. Acomi and the Harpies - An Acomi Solo Episode

Acomi and Turk182 take off their sh!t-kicking boots, put their feet up and watch Mutant (1984). Starring Bo Hopkins and Wings Hauser (who looks like a poor man's John C McGinley), as two men who find themselves, for completely different reasons, trapped in a small backwoods town whose residents are turning into zombie-like creatures. Unlikeable main characters, evil corporations, people refusing to help or ignoring the truth,  horrible people who aren't the bad guys, unnecessary deaths, characters falling in love overnight, impractical events, and an overly convoluted simple plot. A horror text game that proves how scary it can be by crashing on start. Feeling he's been spooked enough for one recording Acomi moves on to 9:05 by Adam Cadre. Let's Watch! Guns (1990) An Andy Sidaris Film

Due to extenuating circumstances and things beyond their control, like mother nature, Acomi and Turk182 are doing solo recordings for the next couple of podcasts.  Following behind Acomi's solo venture, Turk182 tries something new as well with the first part of a science fiction short story. Written over the past 2-3 days, in a free forming style, Lost In the Forgotten begins the story of Garren; a man who has to confront the past while trying to remember it. Born with a with a disorder that prevents him from dreaming, and causing memory loss, when Garren has a repeat of the only true dream he's ever had, he starts to question whether it really was a dream, or a lost memory. But, if it really is a memory and not a dream, that means he knows the face of the man that killed his mother. Lost In the Forgotten - Part 1

Acomi Fails At The Hobbit Text Adventure

Acomi and Turk182 mutually agreed that it was time to watch their least favorite Marvel Comics movie, 2019's Captain Marvel.  Where Acomi isn't as familiar with the character Turk has been a huge fan, going back to her appearances in Uncanny X-Men. Regardless, both are extremely disappointed with the movie's lack of character development, unnecessary character changes, plot, continuity, and overall consistency. Then, there's the actress that plays Captain Marvel... Let's just say, they aren't fans.  A movie that was highly anticipated by both, became a tremendous disappointment upon delivery. Let's Watch! Captain Marvel (2019)

Acomi and Turk182 talk about how fate has conspired to make their recording weekend nigh impossible. First, Acomi has a bought of food poisoning before traveling to Turk's place.
