It’s undeniable that you SHOULD be reading books, and learning new things all of the time.  But HOW MUCH should you be reading?  And how can you take notes from these books, so that you’ll actually be able to put into practice the things you’re learning about.  If you do’nt take notes in the right way, you’ll probably not be able to put the things you read into action.    I read a lot of books, and I put into action almost anything and everything I read and learn.  I do this in a very systemised way that means I only read things that are very relevant to my situation, right now!

So how can you build more discipline, even if EVERYTHING you do seems to be a huge struggle?  There are some very easy ways to build it, and it’s probably not what you’re thinking.  Building discipline has a lot to do with committing to small, micro tasks every single day.  Things that are so small, that EVERYONE and anyone could do them.  Things that are so small that the discipline required to do them is very small, and there are no excuses.    From there, you can build true discipline and increase the amount of time you’re spending doing the tasks, goals or whatever you’re trying to build the discipline to actually do.

Over the years, my morning routines have changed MASSIVELY.  There have been some very important lessons I’ve learned when going through all of these morning routines.  Things I’ve realised have no effect, and things that had a BIG impact.  Morning routines can change your life, but they can also become very overwhelming, and actually STOP you succeeding, if you do them wrong.    Here I’ll share the most effective morning routine I personally have been using, and why I think it’s so powerful! Stop Collecting THINGS You Don’t Need!

If you ENJOY what you’re doing, you’ll never really need motivation. Motivation refers to the drive you need to do something that you, let’s be honest, don’t really want to do. If you don’t REALLY want to do it, 90% of the time, you shouldn’t. This applies to career, school, studying and more. This isn’t what you wanted to hear but it’s my truth and I really believe this. If you don’t feel motivated to go to work, quit your job, find a better one, or work for yourself. How To Stay Motivated All The Time (Uncommon Tips)

So I took the challenge. EXTREME MINIMALISM. I have now, only about 100 items. That’s it, I sold or threw away everything else, and this has brought me a lot more peace in my life.
