Gurakhi Aani Raja

An oppressive king fell ill with festering wounds. A sage declared his disease stemmed from cruelty toward subjects. By reducing taxes, building roads, and treating people kindly, the king healed physically and spiritually—a demonstration that righteous governance restores health, prosperity, and peace.

A king worshipped Shiva with elaborate rituals, yet fled when the temple trembled. A simple shepherd arrived, hugged the idol for protection, and ate his meal peacefully. The ascetic revealed: devotion isn't ceremony, but faith. True belief survives fear when pomp abandons it.

A king greets and bows before young children rather than the elderly. When his Prime Minister inquires why, the king explains that the potential of the elderly is already known and bounded, whereas children represent limitless future potential—any of them could become great poets, saints, leaders, or scientists. Children are God's Reflection

This is the Hindi version of the story मुले म्हंजे देवाची ठेव | Mule Mhanje Devachi Thev Sane Guruji's Stories is a podcast produced by gaathastory and narrated by Amar Vyas.
