Ruiz is probably the best to ever cover the club, and the News-Tribune's decision to get rid of the soccer reporter position is yet another tragedy in the changing journalism landscape. Don and I talked about how the club has changed since joining the league, his favorite players to interview, and whether or not Seattle can really call itself "Soccer City, USA."
