Be careful with who has access to your mental health. You deserve to create boundaries. You deserve to give yourself permission to self love. You get to decide who you should allow in your life. You deserve to have full access to your mind, spirit, and body. Be careful with “drainers”. BLOOM.

Choose Who Has Access To You Spirit, For The Sake of YOUR Mental Health #FREESTYLE

Advocacy defined within the realms of mental health to me, is being able to use your voice to DEFEND- rights, boundaries, wrongdoings, fighting for justice and believing strongly in someone or about something, that society does not give enough attention to.  Advocacy means effectively communicating your needs, wants, and/or hopes, so that your mental, physical and emotional health is not compromised or distressed. To my listener, it may be up to you to make changes in your life, your environment, your classrooms, or this world. It might even be up to you to educate others, who oppose you. This does not mean that you should spread yourself thin, and address every situation or issue. Rather, I encourage you to identify what is worth your advocacy, energy, and mental and emotional health. Advocate for respect. Advocate for the voiceless. Advocate for purpose. Advocate for change. Advocate for the sake of enhancing and challenging the minds of others. Advocate for those being mistreated. Advocate for your values. Advocate for your wellbeing. Most of all, advocate to protect your mental health and emotional health. Advocating is a process that can only be practiced, so I encourage you to do so. Be kind, always. Be kind costs nothing, but kindness. We’ve all experienced pain, so be kind. Advocacy is an act of kindness. There is satisfaction in being kind and compassionate towards others. I encourage you to try it and embrace the moment!

Be an ADVOCATE-A Voice For The Voiceless!

What feelings come up for you if  you were to reflect on having sex with someone who does not even know your last name or your favorite food, hobby, what makes you laugh or things that you care about ? what would the relationship look like after-is there a relationship? What happens to your emotional and mental health? What would you feel like after that situation? would you feel valued or respected? Does this person offer anything else after they got to know your body? Do you feel empty or do you feel fulfilled or both? Does this person treat you with respect after? Does this person call you after? Do you wake up to good-morning texts or how are you doing texts? Do you receive I want to take you out on date text or does this person ghost? My encouragement to you, is to pay attention to whom you’re getting to know. If you are saving yourself, save yourself and let no one convince you to think or do otherwise. Remember, you train people how to treat you-how they value you. Not everyone have access to me and this does not necessarily mean my body, but my mind, my spirit, my soul. To my listener, I encourage you to place boundaries for your mind, spirit and soul. Not everyone should have access to your soul, mind, and spirit. I encourage you to value your values. Value you. Remember self-love throughout this pursuit, because you will need it when you are tempted. Temptation is another powerful concept and to challenge it, self-love will need to be practiced. You have your own decisions to make, but I hope my stories encouraged something or at least offered another insight. Protect your peace, mind, spirit, and soul. This all apart of your mental health. Guard your mental health and most importantly, your emotional health. I encourage you to check in with yourself and your values. Shanice is coming to you live with some vibes. The topic for today is Self-love, while being single. What would you really do if you heard that you were destined to be single? Would you be scared, nervous, or happy?  Single was the best thing that could have ever happened to her. Shanice discussed her self-love journey, while being single. She shares self-love gems with her listeners, whether in a relationship, seeking a potential partner, or single. There is a personal obligation to choose what you are willing to accept and not accept. Imagine being in a relationship with someone who mistreats you, and not having the conversation about your goals and aspirations prior to pursuing the relationship. I invite you to closely examine how important it is to get to know who are you and your own expectations, while being honest with your partner or potential partner about your thoughts and feelings. I encourage to have the conversation, not only to communicate your needs, but to hear your partner’s needs. The thing is we don’t have these conversations. You owe it to yourself to find someone who will value you-your culture, beliefs, attitudes, practices, and upbringing. To my single bloomers, I encourage to find someone whose flaws are perfect to you and for you. My grandmother explained that the flaws being perfect to you means, that your partner’s flaws are embraceful, lovable, and manageable. The flaws being perfect for you, means that you feel that your partner was created for you and his or her flaws make you happy, despite of. Prior to blooming though, the flower must be constantly fed with healthy nutrients that will foster growth and it must receive attention or it will starve. Similar to a flower, humans need healthy nutrients that will foster mental, physical, and emotional growth. Humans also need attention in order to flourish. If humans lack healthy nutrients and attention, they too will starve. In this case, attention is received from you, the self-gardener. Blooming and Growth is a process. YOU deserve to BLOOM!
