About 365ish days ago we launched the Bartender Atlas podcast. Our initial idea was to feature people in the liquor industry that were working towards educating bartenders through their own projects. if you have ever poked around any of the Rum focused groups on facebook, Eugene's name will be familiar. once a food critic, Eugene has become a voice for Nairobi in the world Spirits scene. Since the global pandemic took over, well, everything, he has shifted his focus. He is now running a farm with the hopes of educating not just bartenders, but the community about flavours and health benefits of certain herbs, vegetables and fruits.You can fin out more about what Eugene has going on here

Full disclosure, Christina Kuypers and Josh have been friends and off and on co-workers since 2006. Between college pubs, event management at the Drake Hotel, setting up restaurants and bars in Dubai, managing a hotel bar/restaurant during the Olympics and attempting to bring ideas of authentic culinary exploration to life...and having it not work out, Christina Kuypers has travelled many paths to get where she is now. Her advice at this tumultuous time in the service industry is something we felt was important to share.
