One of the programs that sits within the platform is The Letterbox Project, a letter writing initiative that aims to bring meaningful connection to lonely and isolated Australians.In the first weeks of establishing The Letterbox Project, public support was overwhelming, with thousands signing up in the following weeks. Since then, in just over 12 months there have been 13,000 volunteer letter writers, (including corporates, schools and the general public) and more than 500 letters are currently sent each week.
