Episode #13 - #Social Media

You know when you have news to tell and you have to wait for the perfect moment? This is that moment. Kelsi and Lucy have news for you, and it’s all in this episode. Tune in to hear what life has been like since the wedding, things that have changed (or not changed) and some insights to something big that is about to happen. Kelsi and Lucy will walk you through what the next three months are going to look like and where their life is taking them in April! Episode 12 - EXCITING NEWS

This episode is not going to come as a surprise. 2020 is here and just like everyone else in the world, Kelsi and Lucy are going to recap on their last year and bring you up to date on some future plans. 2019 started with one of them having the flu and the other out as the third wheel to her parents. They traveled a lot, ate a lot, tried their hardest at coming up with hobbies, and they got MARRIED!!! You’ll be sure to laugh during this episode as Kelsi and Lucy give you an insight into what it’s been like living in their shoes during one of the busiest years of their lives. Episode 11 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Travelling between countries is amazing, fun, adventurous, and sometimes a complete nightmare if you start thinking about all the paperwork, visas, work permits, time restrictions, and not to mention that if you’re going anywhere for long enough often you’ve got to be able to prove a hefty amount of money in your bank account, proof you’re not there to mooch off their system. This episode is all about VISAS, and by the end of it, you won’t want to hear that word for a while. Lucy is Australian and has been living in Canada for a while now. Up until two years ago, she thought she could be here, hassle free, until she was thirty. Then, out of nowhere, all that changed and both Kelsi and Lucy had to bury themselves in paperwork to prove their relationship wasn’t a fraud so that Lucy didn’t get deported. Tune in to hear the madness, learn what it’s like to be in someone else’s shoes other than your own, and laugh your butts off at some of the things that come up in this episode.

Ever think you’ve got great ideas and then BAM, you need to put those good ideas to use and all of a sudden you don’t know what to do? This episode is exactly that. Sometimes you’re hoping to be prepared, and you’re just not. That's okay! Kelsi and Lucy wing this whole episode by talking about nothing in particular, but rather just spending nearly a whole hour asking each other random questions. If your conversations with your friends or your partner are becoming mundane and you want to get to know them a little better, try asking some of these questions. EPISODE 9 - WE COULDN’T FIGURE OUT WHAT TO TALK ABOUT

Disagreeing about money is one of the things you hope NEVER happens in your relationship right? This episode weighs heavily on the fact that Kelsi wished nothing more than to be ‘debt-free’ and Lucy thought that debt wasn’t all that bad. This mixture was a recipe for disaster but by combining the skills of making money, saving money, hoarding money, and budget-friendly purchases, Kelsi and Lucy can now say that together as wife and wife, they are officially DEBT FREE…..well, almost. Tune in to hear what it is like to have completely different relationships with money, some of the things that came up in conversation while talking about money, and the dumb shit we all go in debt for…for these two, it was travel and more travel, and cars they couldn’t afford.

In this episode of the We Dunne It podcast, Lucy and Kelsi are taking you behind the scenes on all things “how to start a podcast”. They are passionate about community and this episode talks about the coworking community Lucy is lucky enough to have discovered which in turn has led to this podcast production. EPISODE 7 - WE STARTED A PODCAST / WOULD YOU RATHER?

Lucy and Kelsi frequently talk about what it’s like to be lesbians, especially when it comes to getting engaged. Do lesbians get engaged once, and decide that ‘that’s that’? Or, do they both have to propose at some point and also both say “yes” at some point? The whole thing is all very confusing and completely open to interpretation. They also learned that all lesbians are different, so when they got engaged, they had no idea what they were going to do. Now that they are married, they can say that they were the couple that decided they would both propose, meaning both of them got to have their own unique moment. This is an episode you won’t want to miss!

EPISODE 6 - OUR PROPOSALS

In this episode, Lucy and Kelsi talk about their relationship with food and how eating healthy delicious food as children weren’t always the most enjoyable time. As adults, their relationship with food has changed a lot and things get real and raw when both Lucy and Kelsi talk about eating disorders and their struggles. They hope to inspire anyone who may be struggling to reach out for help and for anyone who doesn’t struggle they are shedding light on how to support someone who may be going through a tough time.
