There were WHOLE SERMONS MISSED because my MIND couldn't hear anyAnd my voice BOOMED in my head "God has NOT given US the SPIRIT OF FEAR but OF POWER of LOVE and of a Sound Mind!" And the very next month, after we joined and got saved and such. I joined the choir. The Children's Choir.  We were learning a song. The words were: God has not given us the spirit of fear No no no no no But the lord has given us POWER POWER AND LOVE HIS JOY AND PEACE HIS HAPPINESS HE HAS GIVEN US A SOUND MIND NEVER SHOULD I BE AFRAID.    I quoted this to Mama. I told her "I have not come to be in Fear. I came to stand in Power, in Love, in a sound Mind that is Strong and Sure. Never shall I be afraid, for a thousand shall fall at my side, 10,000 shall fall at my right hand. But their evil shall not come neigh me!" She would roll her eyes. I don't think she meant for us to take church quite so Powerfully. But it did. It had a PROFOUND IMPACT ON THE WAY I view and engage the world.  I doas I please, I say what the fux I want.
