If we're being honest, recording this episode is a bit nostalgic for me.  When I think about where I was just two years ago when I first started my podcast, it blows my fucking mind to see the progress. As the podcast grew, the audience grew. And as the audience grew, there were more people wanting to work with me.  The snowball effect has been absolutely insane. But how did I get to the point where I’m earning $500,000 a month? And what did I learn along the way? When I first started as an online fitness coach the highest month that I ever had was $54,000.  We had nine trainers working for us at the time, and I had 40 clients of my own. Each one of my trainers also had a bunch of clients. I remember I had lost my passion for fitness coaching. I'd been doing it for four years. I was no longer interested in teaching people what to eat, and I was more interested in teaching the online trainers. So I started up a new business... #509- 5 Things I Learned Making $500,000 in September 2021 ?

Today we are talking about a concept I'm sure many of you are familiar with... Bored, Tired, and Uninspired. We've all been there. Including me. Just yesterday I felt like absolute ass. It was like the wind had been knocked out of my sails.  I was tired, lethargic, and lacked motivation. The best way I can describe the way that I felt was just, “Blah.” Have any of you guys ever had one of those days where you wake up, get out of bed, and just kind of wish you didn't? You'd rather stay in bed, because you feel so bored, tired, and uninspired.  That's how I felt yesterday. And it was the first day in my prep that I ever felt bored.  I've been eating the same meals over and over and over again for eight weeks. And even though I usually take a flexible approach to my diet, when you're on prep, especially as you get closer to your show, you can't cut corners. You have to stick to the plan. So, because I've been eating the same food over and over and over again, I'm feeling uninspired. Every day feels the same.  Usually when I want to feel excited or energetic I'd go out for dinner and drinks with my wife on the weekend. But I can't do that now. I have to stick to my prep. #508- Bored, Tired, and Un-Inspired ?

Today Caleb Zysk and Jeffrey Eadon teach you how to avoid three things that are holding you back. The funny thing about having a goal of reaching 10K a month is that you think it's a lot. But it's not. The reason we think it's a lot is because most of us are going to a job and working 25 days a month. At the end of that month we're coming home with a paycheck that's between $1,600 to $3,000. That's the average paycheck of the average person in North America. So, we look at that tiny paycheck we worked so hard for, and then when we go online to start our own coaching business we think, “Holy shit! $10,000 is a lot of money! A lot of work! How am I ever going to do that?” But once you actually get to $10,000 a month you realize that it's actually pretty easy. It's the mindset to stay at that $10,000 that's the bitch. So today Caleb and Jeff are going to tell you the three things that are holding you back and keeping you from breaking through to that 10K a month goal. #1 – Waiting for People to Come to You. Caleb especially struggled with this the first few months of growing his business. While Caleb did eventually break through to the magical 10K number, he still doesn't rely on clients coming to him. #505- You Can't Force a Flower to Grow

Today I'm not going to tell you what to do. I'm going to tell you what NOT to do. Specifically, we're going to be talking about what you don't want to do while growing your Instagram account. Basically, I'm going to help you learn to avoid the “fuck-ups” I've made in the past. The last few days have been super weird. Yesterday around 1:00 p.m. I looked at my Instagram and my following had grown by around 700. I said, “What the fuck?” I couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe I had a Reel going viral. Those of you who are in my course or who have been following my podcast know that I really push that you should be posting regularly on Instagram Reels. It can lead to super viral content, and super-viral content can lead to a lot of followers. So, I went and investigated all of my Reels. And I do have some Reels that are doing really well, including one that recently hit 500,000 views. But I hadn't gotten an influx of followers from that. After a while, I kind of forgot about it and went about my day. Then I checked my phone a few hours later and suddenly I'm up by 1,500 more followers! Again I said, “What the fuck?” So I dug in a bit deeper and started looking at some of these new followers' pages. A lot of them were from Central and South America. Today Caleb Zysk and Jeffrey Eadon talk with Caleb's wife, Coach Alina, about how she overcame obstacles and setbacks to start her own business. It's an honor and privilege to have Alina on here. #502- Caleb's Better Half Talks About How She Overcame Starting Her Business

Yesterday we celebrated our 500th show! And today is yet another monumental day for the podcast! We are celebrating our second year of podcasting! October 7, 2019 was the first ever show in the Change Lives Make Money podcast. It was called “How I went from 2K to 10K a month.” I've learned a lot in those two years.  I was doing some numbers on my podcast growth over the course of the past two years. My intro episode in September, 2019 got 69 downloads. At the same time I had around 40 clients. By September, 2020 we had 16,000 downloads, and I had about 350 clients. This year we had 31,000 downloads, and I have over 1,000 clients. What I'm realizing is the more the podcast grows, the more the business grows. I believe it's because podcasts live forever.  A live stream on Facebook or Instagram is good for when you go live, but no one ever goes back and watches your old live streams. But podcasting is different. I've had new listeners find me from podcasts that originally ran two years ago. #501- 10 Things I Learned from Podcasting 2 Years Straight ?

Today I am joined by my lovely wife, Kirsten Mark to celebrate our 500th podcast episode! We are teaming up to drop some major knowledge on how you can grow a massive social media network. Kirsten is the one person I know with the biggest network on social media. Her Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram followings are all growing rapidly.  She currently has 325,000 followers on TikTok, and 115,000 followers on Instagram. Plus, she has 5,000 friends and 12,000 to 15,000 followers on Facebook. Kirsten has a lot of Jedi mind tricks to share with you. So pay attention and take notes! When Kirsten first started out on social media she had around 3,000 Instagram followers, and half of them were dudes who were liking pictures of her butt.  In the early days, she was posting highlight videos and stories showing how “awesome” her life was. The problem was, her life wasn't so awesome. She was really struggling back then. It was only when she started being more authentic that she saw real growth with her social media network. # 500- Episode #500! 3 Secrets to Growing a Massive Network w_ Kirsten Mark ❤️❤️

When I think about some of my clients who are doing absolutely incredible in my Online Coaching Program and compare them to someone who is struggling when they come into the program, I ask myself what are some of the fundamental differences between those who are crushing it and those who aren't? For example, I have a client named Janelle Wheel who has over 700 active paying clients. I have 1,000. So Jenell is getting really close to catching up to me! What makes those clients who are struggling so different from Janelle?  Is it self-doubt? Is it fear of failure? What is it? The base premise of their struggle is “Tactics without the Mindset is completely useless.” That's why you can be in the 10K Coaching Academy and have access to the Number One Blueprint for Success on the internet, and still fail. Because if you aren't also committed to your mindset, and you aren't also committed to working on yourself, then you're going to struggle.  It's the same thing with your weight loss clients. But if they view themselves as a failure, it's going to be hard for them to stick with the program, because they don't identify as somebody who's successful. #499- Whats the point of implementing? Not gonna work anyway…

As I'm recording this podcast, Facebook and Instagram are both down.  We have absolutely no control over what certain social media platforms are going to do. We can't control if and when they crash, whether or not they block or ban certain content, or what their policies are. What that means for you, is you can lose your opportunity to communicate with customers and potential leads in an instant.  You communicate with most of your clients on Facebook. You communicate with your potential clients on Facebook and Instagram.  So when that valuable communication tool is taken away, you may feel lost and frustrated. But don't worry. I'm going to give a bit of advice to those of you who mainly use Facebook and Instagram for promoting your Online Fitness Business. Here are four core lessons to help you deal with social media crashes and setbacks.  Lesson #1 Focus on what you can control. Let's be honest. When Facebook and/or Instagram crashes, a lot of us freak out. But there's nothing you can do about it. So instead, look at this as an opportunity to work on some projects you've been putting off. Start upping your TikTok game. Or pre-write your Facebook and Instagram content so you're primed and ready for when the platforms are back online. #498- Facebook and IG Crashed! What Should You Do?

Today Caleb Zysk and Jeffrey Eadon talk about the pitfalls of success and failure. Let’s say you work really hard and get really successful, then you can stumble and fall backwards. When that happens you have the choice to pick yourself back up and move forward and see success again. But when you fail yourself, when you quit on yourself, when you let go of yourself, that's when failure is fatal. For example, recently Jeff got hit by a van. He hurt his shoulder and damaged his leg. He could have taken it easy the past few weeks and rested up, but he didn't. The same week Jeff got hit by the van, he was in the gym working out at least three times. He's going again tomorrow, just so he can do rehab on his shoulder to strengthen it after the accident. Here's the thing, he'll be back in the gym without the leg brace in probably 8 or 9 weeks. But he won't be doing his regular routine any more. He'll be going back to the basics until he builds himself back up again. The same thing happened to both Jeff's and Caleb's businesses. They built them up to a certain point, and then they had setbacks. But they didn't quit. They kept going. They did not allow their failures to be final. Jeff rebuilt his business and took it to $10,000 a month. Caleb rebuilt his business and took it to $40,000 a month. In your fitness journey, in your personal life, in your business, you will have ebbs and flows. That’s because success is not a linear progression. #497- Success is Not Final but Failure is Fatal

Today we continue our four-part series called “Meet The Coaches!” I am being joined today by the Mindset King of the 10K Coaching Academy, Mr. Caleb Zysk! You know Caleb from Highjack Friday, where he and Jeffrey Eadon take over the podcast and drop juicy knowledge bombs right and left. But today, we're getting to know the man behind the legend. We're going to deep dive into Caleb's past to get to know him better, and learn how he became a successful online fitness coach. I've admired Caleb since he first joined the program. Caleb was born and raised on a farm outside of Allendale, a small town in Michigan.
