In this episode I chat to Laura Fox who is wonderfully quirky and a self-proclaimed weird one. She shares her unique combination of energy medicine gifts including reiki, coaching and light language. She helps people remember who they are. She believes we all have our own light to shine with unique gifts to give to the world and everything is already inside of us. She shares her personal journey through a very dark time where she contemplated ending her own life, all because she was not living her truth and trying to be someone else. This dark moment was also combined with a serious medical wake up call and started her on a healing journey, both physical and emotional. She helps people tune into their emotional bodies, their spiritual bodies and their physical bodies so to get the information that we all have within us to get our intuitive wisdom. She teaches people how to do that and guides them through the difficult patterns we get stuck in. For example, when we think “oh that’s just the way I am”  or  “I’m just someone who has bad relationships” or  “I can’t lose weight” or “I just don’t earn a lot of money” Those things that we just think that we are, Penny shows them that it is just a story they’ve learnt in this life or past lives, and they can totally change that by feeling through the emotions that come up with that story. New Episode! In this episode I had the absolute pleasure of talking to a whānau (family) member of mine Matewai Te Kere known in the Māori world as a Matakite or Spiritual Medium. She is super humble and gifted and I know you'll enjoy this conversation. She describes herself as a spiritual communicator, psychic, clairvoyant or clairsentient. She does however try to avoid labels, but feels most at ease with Matakite because of her Māori cultural heritage. She defines Matakite as an extra strength of being able to see and feel beyond what an 'average' person is able to see and feel.  In this episode she talks about her own journey to developing her medium-ship and how she believes that anyone can connect to their higher-self, its just a matter of coming into yourself through peace and quietness and going into the flow. In this episode I talk to Christine Langdon from The Good Registry about how she quit her job to figure out how to get more joy into her life. She helped start an amazing social enterprise that focuses on helping charities and reducing waste by providing an alternative to giving gifts that aren’t wanted or needed.  She is also a yoga teacher and writes a blog – My Kinder Life – that focuses on living a life with more mindfulness, more freedom and more adventure. We talk about how she discovered her truth and joy by creating space through leaving her job and also through meditation and journal writing. We talk about money and consumerism, and how money stops people from following their heart and finding their truth. He is the founder of GKS Holism which offers a wide range of alternative well-being therapies and services , as well as running many workshops and events in the lower North Island region of New Zealand. This was a super intriguing conversation where we discuss some deep topics and theories on life around compassion, consciousness, ascension, how everything is just energy, personal responsibility, synchronicity, fear and intuition. In this episode I talk to Lotty Roberts, mum of 3 boys about how she quit her job in the corporate world and started up her business MindU which delivers mindfulness in change and leadership training. She has also co-founded the Vulnerability Project which is about embracing vulnerability as a strength. She talks about how she hit her rock bottom suffering from postnatal depression and numerous physical injuries after striving for perfection in all aspects of her life as a career driven women and competitive runner. She then discovered mindfulness and now describes it as her super power in dealing with life's adversities. She talks about her yoga teacher training, discovering her limiting core beliefs such as "I'm not enough" and what she experienced on a 7 day silent mediation retreat.
