Episode 71: A Goofy Movie (9.5)

Getting this one in just under the wire, the gang is hopping dimensions and saving the girl as we revisit Super Mario Bros. (1993). Karl confuses the 1990s, gets blindsided by a fish, and encourages progressive toy variants; Mark has both a Tarzan and a Tinman misconception, can only recognize a man when he's in brown face, and gets interrupted by his cat; and Sara can't stop comparing this to other dystopian nightmares, reveals her close relationship with the star of the film, and insists she wasn't killed, she just died. Episode 70: Super Mario Bros. (4.83 + i/3)

It's a blind watch boys night as Sara is out sick and we watch a film from the 80s none of us have seen, 'Explorers' from 1985. Mark blames everything on space magic, takes a shot at the public school system, and explains where bubbles come from; and Karl asks for his Oscar, forgets several things only to remember them seconds later, and cannot recall his greatest fear. All that and we give free advice to Hollywood on how to punch up this film. Enjoy!

Episode 69: BLIND WATCH - Explorers (4.37)

Come jig with James Cromwell as we revisit Babe. Karl coins a new term for children, forgets how old his sibling is, and admits to hating positive people; Mark knows of a face, goes with something out of his mouth, downplays a dog tragedy; and Sara gives the shortest synopsis yet, remembers a song no one else does, and forgets a racism word. Episode 68: Babe (7.42)

Grab your coins and regain your luck as we revisit the Disney Channel Original Movie, The Luck of the Irish. Mark doesn't know his family's name, was never in a trio, and adds a tragic Potato to our scale; Karl believes in a Lake that doesn't exist, has sirens blare when he talks about being racist, and apologizes to all of Germany just to insult England later on; and Sara explains the difference between boys and girls, has a real misconception vis-a-vis juice, and says no in multiple accents. Episode 67: The Luck Of the Irish (6.5)

Go down the weirdest rabbit hole with us as we revisit the 1985 CBS TV special 'Alice In Wonderland'. Mark keeps pushing Kojak, sees a drunk when no one else does, and wants to be the King; Karl prefers Dreams over Drugs, asks an existential Scott Baio question, and says 'the original work' maybe 1000 times; and Sara hasn't seen the film but joins us anyways, explains what makes for cute abominations, reveals her secret identity, and gives our strangest review to date. Episode 66: Alice In Wonderland -1985 CBS - (3 + 4*i/3)

Hop on your brooms and fly away for a year with us as we revisit Kiki's Delivery Service. Mark makes a really weird Tombo connection, wonders 'where all the witches at?', and just can't stop pointing out children's underpants; Karl suspects a negligent mother, provides filler for Sara's googling, and tears apart this film's understanding of plane physics; and Sara refuses to weigh in on the heated Sub vs Dub debate, plays a long game of 'did you recognize this voice', and really flubs our plugs. Episode 65: Kiki's Delivery Service (8.26)

It's a Christmas Boys' Night as we watch the trial of the century and revisit Miracle On 34th Street. Karl forgets what children are called, judges a little girl by her looks, and compares Santa to God many times; Mark can't name another Richard Attenborough credit, gets really stuck on a Friends look a like, and presents a very special treat at the end which may be the best thing this podcast has ever put out.

Episode 64: Miracle On 34th Street (6.35)

Avoid real politics for awhile and explore some fake political scandal with us as we revisit My Fellow Americans. Sara shares how much the film is worth, takes a hard Lauren Bacall stance, and shares presidential facts, including Taft's bathtub and Lyndon B's Johnson; Mark explains how professional hits work, nails a pitch game with no hints, and serves up both a terrible pizza description and his worst pun yet; Karl is not impressed by embezzlement, gets constantly corrected in stereo, and sees his dog get elected. Episode 63: My Fellow Americans (5.85)

Put the bodies in the closet and come explore an 1980s horror cult classic with us as we revisit House. Mark forgets what he is about to say, refuses to sing, and plays 'ghost or no ghost'; Karl doesn't know Night Courts, gets mad about door knobs and toilets, and gives axe advice; and Sara references several bygone TV shows, forgets how to spell PTSD , and explains haunted house law. It's another look back at a film none of us have seen as we revisit The Apartment for the first time. Karl makes a Quatermain connection, admits he's wrong, and confuses John Hughes; Mark feels nothing, hasn't had the requisite amount of affairs, and saves us from a racist tangent; and Sara makes a Sunset Boulevard reference none of us get, somehow gives a review of Wicker Man as well, and explains what the hell Turkey Lurkey Time even is. Episode 61: BLIND WATCH - The Apartment (6.33)

Come join us as we cure acrophobia through immersion therapy and revisit Vertigo. Mark thought the film was half as long, has trouble understanding a woman, gives Jimmy Stewart too much credit as a detective, and confirms Jon Voight is Jon Voight; Karl comes up with a great book that's never been written, gets angry at driving, describes the worst gift to give him, and somehow manages to forget color; and Sara is not addressed until til the very end, but that serves her right for not being present for this episode. Enjoy!

Episode 60: Vertigo (7.25)

Come listen to some static with us as we revisit Poltergeist. Mark suggests a bird ghost, has a backwards reading memory, and is disappointed the film's child curse not more severe; Karl shares opinions on steak snacks, can't pronounce names or words and eventually gives up, and mentions the devil one time and is immediately possessed; and Sara googles pigs and ages, refuses to call characters by their name, and dreamed her games away. All that and we have a long protracted conversation about a 30 second construction worker scene. Enjoy!
