Sue-Ellen endearingly refers to him as her Suit and Tie dog, always so professional. She continues to overcome the limitations of total blindness after being afflicted by the hereditary degenerative disease Retinitis Pigmentosa. She was born legally blind, albeit as she ran around their family property, rode horses bareback and helped her father muster the stock she didn’t know the minimal sight she had was not normal. Sue-Ellen doesn’t let her condition stop her achieving her goals, on or off the saddle. Sue-Ellen ‘Lives to Ride’, competes at FEI Inter 1 level, and trains Grand Prix. As well as riding, Sue-Ellen’s life is devoted to helping and motivating people. During the marathon rides she raised the $3.2m, she spoke at functions in over 600 towns, and gave inspirational talks to thousands. One of her longest rides was Cairns to the Gold Coast in 1988, 2400 km, 54 days in the saddle, with the funds raised going to the RDA. Another was from Melbourne to Sydney in 1998 to raise money and public awareness for the Sydney Paralympic Games. At that time she was short listed to be competing at Sydney but still did the 38 days in the saddle and raised $1.1m.

I had a wonderful time speaking with these ladies about how Nature and Intuition are connected. I spoke with Jessica White Plume twice actually July 22 and 26, 2021 because I wanted to include some information about what she does in the podcast. I heard about Jessica on another podcast The Journey On podcast with Warwick Schiller and what she does drew me to her. Conversation about Healing and Intuition with Theo Fleury

I spoke with Shea Stewart on June 25, 2021. She shared about how intuition shows up in her work as an equine cranial sacral practitioner and she also shared how a tragedy brought intuition in her body to her awareness starting her intuitive path. BioHorses have been a part of my life for the majority of my life. I founded Stewart Ranch in 1998 in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mnts, near Santa Cruz, CA. I focused on creating a holistic environment, and incorporating educational seminars and clinics. I found myself with a ranch that had huge potential, so I spent the first year renovating it and creating a home for me and a peaceful environment for horses.Every 6-12 months or so, I would bring in a professional to teach a clinic on some aspect of horse well-being. And I also taught clinics, trained horses from starting young horses under saddle, to re-educating the most difficult horses, to having other horse trainers bring me their horses to help them get to a better spot. I had a strong client base with boarders who were in some kind of lesson or training program, and every year I spent 6 weeks with Harry Whitney to enhance my own skills. Usually bringing the most challenging horses I had in training, or a young horse to start under saddle.Around 2007, I found myself with a full load of training horses with extreme and dangerous issues. It was around that time that I started exploring equine craniosacral therapy. I was familiar with craniosacral therapy because I had been receiving it since the late 80&apos;s so I knew how powerful it was. As I completed each workshop, I incorporated what I learned with the horses in training so I could practice my feel. I found that I had a knack for this work, and it resonated with me on a deep level. What kept me intrigued was the change I was seeing in this group of training horses that I had at the time. There was a settledness that the horses had, a lightness in their riding and just an ease to their expression.I started getting interest from other clients and friends throughout CA once they heard about this work I was doing from my postings on facebook and seeing results of horses they knew that I had in a training program. So, about a year after my first craniosacral course, I branched out and began working on horses outside of my ranch. I still felt like I had barely scratched the surface of this therapy, but the feed back from clients was remarkable to me, and honestly that feed back is what kept me motivated to offer this service as well as lessons and training. In 2011, I decided to relocate to Texas. I immediately found a human craniosacral practitioner who taught classes in biodynamic craniosacral. I enrolled in every level completing up to the advanced levels. This training was life changing in my equine practice. I am able to practice with more precision, get deeper changes, and have a clear understanding of what is happening during a session with a horse that I was not understanding during that first year. I have steadily built a strong client base in TX all through word of mouth. With my background in horse behavior and my dedication to craniosacral therapy, I feel that I bring into each session a unique quality to help each horse individually, and teach their owners how to support them as well.In 2012, I began saddle fitting as well. With my back ground in functional anatomy, and saddle fitting all types of saddles, this transition became very easy for me. I know how important saddle are for a horse&apos;s well-being after all of my years of training troubled horses and finding solutions for them. I now have a full-time business offering saddle fitting for all major english brands, and western saddles as well. I currently work in the N. TX area offering craniosacral session, and also saddle fitting and saddle sales.

How Thoughts and Feelings Can Be Intuitive

I spoke with Donna on June 21, 2021. It was great to speak with someone who has walked a similar path of corporate work and transitioning into a new role embracing her intuition and following the bread crumbs so to speak. Hearing about her own journey and the work she does now made me excited for the women who cross her path and learn to embrace their strengths and follow their own lead. Bio Donna Hall is a life coach and intuitive energy healer.  She helps women to get anything they want by healing old wounds, such as a difficult childhood and transforming their most important relationships. At a young age, Donna was able to read people&apos;s emotions but didn’t give it much thought.  She felt everyone could do the same. When she started working in the corporate world, her intuition gave her insights but she had difficulty explaining her sense of knowing, and hid it if she could not align it to logic.  Today, she has learned to embrace her intuition and uses it to help her clients gain a deeper understanding of who they are through her transformational intuitive Release Your Energy scans.   When she is not busy, she can be found having fun with her family and two dogs. When Intuition, Purpose and Being True to Yourself All Meet

I spoke with Richard Rowland on June 11, 2021. It was an insightful conversation about how intuition can support us in our life at one level and then due to profound life circumstances shift into another level that shines and shows up in ways we couldn&apos;t have imagined previously.  BioRichard is a two tour veteran of the Vietnam War, a 28 year veteran of law enforcement, retiring from the KY State Police as a sergeant, and a 20+ year owner/operator of an equine facility in Kentucky. He is retired from all endeavors except for writing. He spends his time split between Kentucky and Maine, where he and his wife Jennifer care for her elderly parents, a horse, dog and three cats. He is thirteen years into a cancer diagnosis that came with a three year expiration date. How Intuition Can Grow as Life Shifts and Challenges Us

I spoke with Amber Lydic on April 19, 2021. It was great to speak to Amber who has been on her own journey to healing to learn and support herself and in turn support others as she goes for the ride. Bio For over 20 years, my personal passion and purpose have been to support those that are on a journey to develop a deep and connected relationship with their horse. While classes, techniques and learning tools are critical for developing this relationship, the true nature of deep bonding comes from within. Understanding yourself gives a freedom to growing a deepening relationship with your horse. In 2004, after graduating from the John and Josh Lyons Certification program, I began developing a professional training program. My interest focused on assisting performance horses with behavioral issues. Under a multitude of talented trainers, I had the opportunity to learn a variety of disciplines. During this time, I was chosen to be the lead trainer for the (former) San Jose Police mounted unit. I continued my education and became certified in Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA). Side-by-side with a talented psychologist, we worked with troubled teens and foster children, and managed corporate team building courses.  While I was developing my horse skills through extended education, work and practice, I felt there was more I could do to access my own internal resources. Being around horses for so many years, it was clear to me that a person’s energy had an immediate effect on their horse. My own personal experience of anxiety and depression became my learning ground. From this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the role personal healing plays in developing a rich and satisfying relationship with a horse. Taking this time to connect with myself provided the missing piece to my development of a professional horse and rider training program. It was through this personal journey that I became a Certified Personal Coach and a ThetaHealing Practitioner. This deeper knowledge allowed me to build a program that incorporates guided meditation and mindfulness activities, with the support of traditional training and performance exercises. The combined knowledge created a series of building blocks that I used in developing my personal horse and rider program. My intention is to be present and allow for my students and their horses to be seen, heard and understood. Performance and behavioral issues can be directly attributed to tension between the horse and the rider. The challenge is how to create a safe environment that allows students to access their deepest fears and develop a new way for interacting with their animal. My belief is that every person has the ability to learn, grow and flourish. My role is to provide an environment and understanding that will allow the student to begin to heal themselves, while developing a deeper connection with their horse. Teaching, listening, and translating is the focus of my training, allowing students to access that part of themselves that has hindered their relationships—personally and with their horse.I continue my own personal journey of learning while helping others. Providing students with a safe place to discover themselves and build their relationship to their horse is as exciting to me as it is for them.
