He and I both have had tough battles with anxiety and depression This episode dives deep into why and how he shifted from physical exercise and started helping others with their mental health. She is truly the best mother that I could have ever hoped for and I can't imagine being raised by anyone else.Have a stack of tissues ready as we dive into her past. We reminisce on the days before I was born, how she met my father, the tragedy of losing 2 siblings at a young age, her father, and most recently her mother. Episode 6 starts off by recapping an emotional event that affected us all... The loss of Kobe Bryant. Death doesn't have to always be sad and mournful though we are bound to experience shock, denial, and grief. I use death as a daily reminder to be grateful for yet another day here on this Earth and asking myself, "Did I live today with purpose? With intention? Did I behave and act in a way that I want people to remember me by?" Losing a friend in high school and seeing my mother experience another death in her mother have always helped to keep things in perspective. Kobe truly lived a life that impacted many and deserves to be remembered for his drive, mamba mentality, and character.After a LONG intro/recap, I sit down with Alex Drachnik to discuss our individual experiences with coaching clients to better health, fitness, and mentality. There is a LOT of bad information out there regarding weight loss/bodybuilding and we make light of it here on this episode. His career at WFG Title company - don't worry he explains that in the podcast - has also allowed him the freedom to help people reach their fitness goals. His mindset behind simple kindness towards strangers, starting your day with 20 minutes of intention, and becoming just a tiny bit better everyday has made him incredibly successful and true joy to be around.

We dive into our history of friendship, chipotle obsessions, our experiences competing, traveling, and working for Spikeball, his ability to not drink until he was 21, and so much other random babbling. Bound to entertain you for a cool hour at the very least. If you've never sat down and had a deeper talk with your best friend, I highly recommend it. Recording this was one of my favorite hours in a long time!
